  1. No, you're not the only one! I think £440,000's got his questions mixed up.
  2. Yes he was. I wonder if Roeder became interested because he'd done his research on the player, or because Mourinho wanted him?
  3. This content is not viewable to guests.
  4. He reminds me more of Mark Hughes for some reason.
  5. Ha, Ha, Ha!! Have that, Ferguson, you gin soaked t***!!!!
  6. Yes they will, Lucas, when they're in the Championship, people will be saying "What's happened to West Ham?"
  7. PENNNNNAAANNNNNNT!!! 2-0
  8. Gerrard!!! 1-0
  9. He looks like he could be related to Gianfranco Zola.
  10. He played at rightback behind Adriano, but to be honest he was up and down the right-hand side. Very good player.
  11. .......................Reina Finnan Carragher Agger Riise ...................Alonso ........Gerrard...........Zenden ...Bellamy...................Garcia ....................Kuyt Subs: Crouch, Dudek, Pennant, Gonzalez, Hyypia
  12. Where did I say that we should be 'blowing teams away'? I'm saying that against these sides away from home, our style of play is too cautious.
  13. My point is, we play very differently against those sides than we do against others away from home. We seem to go into these games with a 'safety first' mentality, and once we concede, its difficult for us to change the way we play.
  14. Nope, and with the negative tactics that we currently employ against those three away from home, I can't see that changing.
  15. 3-5-2 would work, as long the midfield get about Hleb, Fabregas and Rosicky. Also, playing two up front would keep their defence thinking as I think Crouch or Kuyt on their own would see them being too isolated.
  16. 1-0!!! Kuyt!
  17. Well said. I do think that Rafa has tried to implement the new players too quickly into the team. I know in some cases he's been forced to (Riise's injury, Kewell not available), but I think replacing Kewell with Gonzalez, Warnock coming in to cover Riise, and Bellamy or Kuyt taking over the vacant spot left by Morientes would have been okay. But when he's played Pennant on the right but then moved Gerrard to the left, or dropped Crouch when he's been scoring regularly, or playing Aurelio (who hasn't impressed) on the left and then dropping Gonzalez for a few games, has messed up the confidence of the squad IMO. Rafa has a way that he wants Liverpool to play. Now the players that he had last season were starting to understand his ideas, which is why I think we did pretty well in the League, but this season, he's playing the new players before they have fully understood what he wants from them, and I think this is causing the problem. Last season the only new players who were regulars in the side were Reina, Sissoko and Crouch. Agger joined in January and he hardly played last season. This season Bellamy, Kuyt, Aurelio, Pennant and Gonzalez have all had regular starts in the side and the only one who seems to have slotted in quickly is Kuyt. Bellamy and Gonzalez are showing promise, but are not quite there yet. This has also not been helped by the poor form of the senior players, which I don't really understand. Some have said that its the World Cup hangover, but Chelsea, Arsenal and the Mancs all had players at the World Cup, and some players have come back playing better than ever (Drogba and Essien spring to mind). I think Rafa has to keep a settled side from now on or we'll continue to see poor results in the League.
  18. Currently 2-0 to Madrid in 'El Derby'. Maybe you should concentrate on matters a bit closer to home before you come on here talking s**** about LFC.
  19. Play the same team against Reading that played today. Why rest them? Most of them didn't bother to play today anyway.
  20. 2-0 Chelsea (Shevchenko, Ballack) Chelsea 2-1 Portsmouth (Benjani)
