The thing I've noticed about the Mancs this season is that on certain occasions (last night, before they played us at OT) they have bought into the hype factor surrounding them. It's something that I've not seen them do for a long time. In the days of Keane, Beckham, etc., even when they were being lauded by everyone, they never let it go to their heads. But this season when the pundits have fawned all over them, they've really believed their own hype. I couldn't believe the amount of pundits that were literally writing off Barcelona as though they were some second rate side before the match. I remember after Barcelona had beaten Madrid 6-2, the general opinion of the press was that 'Madrid's defence was crap, and that the Mancs won't defend like that'.
