  1. That's interesting. Compare the respective teams results/trophies five years after Beneitz joining and who comes out on top? This season isn't over yet.
  2. He is keeping very quiet in public.
  3. The question related to the stick he didn't get the two years they scraped into fourth.
  4. “Former multiple title winner and now no trophies or successes now for x no. of years?” I would have thought that was more of a sensationalist story than our current predicament. “Arsenal Supremo loses plot”, “Gunners to Goners” and so forth.
  5. Would have difficulty in taking issue with any of these salient points but there is a fundamental antipathy that delves deeper. A perception that LFC has had more than it's day and an advancement of a determined aspiration never to see it become all conquering again. The media, typified by Sky is scattered with ex players whose playing days were relatively unsuccessful because there was one particular club that scooped all before them over an elongated period, leaving their trophy cabinets sparse. Old-fashioned abhorrence and bitterness and if you like. We are unfashionable and must be subjugated for fear of a revival. Look at how our relative improvement was portrayed last season. Any future successes we have will never be received with the same glorious reception that is given to Manchester, Chelsea and the beautiful Arsenal. Either that or I am paranoid.
  6. Of course that is not true. I do not wish to see Rafa still labelled as the tinkerer when it is Fergie who has not started the same side for over 100 games. Presumably this, according to your premise, is because their current plight is not as bad as ours and therefore this particualr fact can be overlooked? This is just one example.
  7. Sky offer a balanced and equitable delivery. This is assessed on the basis of a side's current plight but also upon a carefully constrcuted analysis of the clubs recent form and form considered over the immediately preceeding seasons. Is this what you are saying?
  8. But the Mancs recent dip was not met with derision and ridicule. Sky were telling us that it was good thing they went out of the FA Cup because it mean they could concentrate on the title and Europe.
  9. He's certainly got a good footballing head on his shoulders; "Everton aren't a big club. That club I have turned down already." http://www.goal.com/en/news/734/everton/2009/01/04/1040746/milan-jovanovic-reveals-everton-snub
  10. Thought Birmingham had tabled a formal offer for Jovanovic.
  11. The ravenous swines.
  12. As a matter of interest, what would be you preferred choice of match officials?
  13. James Corrigan is a sound journo. Thought his forte was Golf. Looks like he and Dion Fanning will be sent to coventy by their colleagues for their respective disgracefully balanced pieces.
  14. Why's that then? Because he will be seen in a better light when we finish in the top three?
  15. It seems like there is some kinda gypsy curse on our club this season. Not only at Anfield but away from home as well.
  16. The esteemed scribes of our capital are priming our boss for the boot and using us as pawns in the media game to oust him. Nothing would be sweeter than watching these vermin have to back track again.
  17. This.
  18. We are playing at home?
  19. Just need to get some semblance of cohesion. If we do 4th at least will not be a issue. Yesterday we showed we are up for the fight and I for one think better things are just around the corner. Starting with a more positive outlook and result against Spurs. Aquaman and either Maxi or Riera to start. We will do this.
  20. Villa pretty dire against West Ham by all accounts. 0-0 half time and the Hammers with the best chances.
  21. His replies on Twitter show the fellas' mindset. He thinks he is a victim. Babel: Good rainy morning, Melwood now… Training.. Later on the day traveling to Stoke ..Hey people, I got some disappointing news, I m not travelling 2 Stoke.. The Boss left me out the squad. No explanation.. Reply:you never played that great against reading could be the reason. show some passion and get you foot in! Babel: to get injured again? Ur crazy What happend after a first good season? Scoring 10 goals, being young talent of the year, and then second and this season don't play at all? I can tell everybody, I have never had a argue or a fight with the manager… I always kept quiet… So for me its also a question .. Where did it go wrong??? .. Well obv you have people who support me and don't support me.. That's all good.. I believe in myself.. And one day, you will see what I m capable off, will it be at LFC or somewhere else… I have faith… And hey, I m not scared to share this with you guys.. Cause its the truth.. And there r no secrets.. !!! In a football career you have ups and downs… Every player has them.. So the day will come def.. When I will do well everyday… ! So don't worry.. God is good, yes he is !
  22. Whilst simultaneously bemoaning on his Twitter his puzzlement and surprise and not being selected to play. Work it out Ryan, you are s****

    Stoke Away

He's getting in the box as well as putting thorugh more incisive passes. Not his fault the moron of a ref failed to give penalties after he was blatantly hauled down twice.

*Lucas. Has now laid to rest the myth that he has nothing to offer in an attacking perspective.
