We've done all the polling... It's clear that the fans want Rafa back. It's also clear that the press so far seem to be very much biased against Rafa (telegraph and BBC reporting that it's 'small sections' of fans who want him back). Supporting Liverpool has been a bloody struggle for a long time now (or has felt this way)... I heard that people were tying ribbons with pro Rafa slogans to the anfield gates... this is the kinda thing we need to do and in big numbers too. If we don;t somehow find a way to voice our well enough educated opinion that Rafa would be best back at Anfield then we'll be left with the owners reading BBC and the telegraph and god knows what other s*** rags and they may not consider appointing Rafa.

I'm f***in pissed off with this s***. We have had to put up with the Hicks etc for years.. now we are dealing with a prick/useless c***ing hawk of a manager. I dunno what the f*** more needs to happen before you guys take the the f***in streets... I was jokin before but im just pissed off to f*** now. If I were in Liverpool I'd be standin at the f***in gates. Supporting this team is probably what it feels like to parent teenagers.
-
I really hope people chant Rafa's name loud at the match... the press are trying to make out that most fans dont want Rafa back!
-
Ya but on paper it was also Rafa's fault for valencia winnign 2 titles, uefa cup... then a CL FA cup for us... another CL final appearance just to show that it wasnt all a big fluke. Rafa is at fault for a lot of s***!
-
Rafa chants at the game!
-
If you want Hodgson out.... now is the time! take to the f***in streets!
-
I no longer think it's unlikely. I think it's quite possible now... Rafa has manuevered himself into gettign the sack.. it isnt cause he hates money...
-
wooo he's gone from inter!
-
Let's add that Ac Milan were poor last season too.. they have improved this season. also Inter overachieved in the CL last term (largely down to Mourinho I guess)... but in terms of players... they over achieved. That's cause we turned him down in favour of Rafa those years ago. I believe there are quotes out there somewhere where Mourinho said that he'd prefer Liverpool.

Ya man.. for me, Rafa coming b ack would breathe fresh life into my season. I'd look forward to games.. I'd really look forward to the january transfer window too. Jesus is it too much to ask to just get Roy the f*** out and Rafa back in!? I'm sure he'd do the right thing and wave his sign on fee since he got paid to leave us before. I don;t really care though, I just want him back and I want him calling certain manager by the title of Mr. again
-
Ha ya I'm trolling the net for any info to be honest..
-
Well before I say anything else, I do think the players at Barca are slightly better than Real... still I watched the 5-0. I guess my main point is that Liverpool and Barca are incredibly different.. talent and style. There a higher than usual risk of us being let down in my view anyway. But it's irrelevant really cause ther eis no way in hell he would come to us.

It'd be such a wonderful xmas present wouldn't it? I dunno if yer pro Rafa but... Hodgson has to go! For me, Rafa is the man for us and always was. God damnit I wanna see us in another CL final! I want all of europe to be watching us play... we f***ing well had this only a few years ago..... god how depressing is it now... we're looking at us beating blackpool away as unlikely.
-
Course not but It is certainly a point that the owners could use when it came to negotiating his new contract. i'd say the sign on fee would be waved myself. It would suit both parties... The owners would get a top class manager on the cheap and Rafa would get back tot he premiership but this time under proper owners and at a team that he loves and has already had notable success at. ------------------------------ Rafa is a clever man, when things weren't going well at Inter and with NESV after buying us out, he did engineer his way out of Inter and as fast as possible in order to get back here. Skybet only have him in at 2nd favourite at 5/1.. but I think that Rafa certainly wants the job back... I hop they give it to him. Teamtalk seems to be mostly against Rafa coming back. (just a note)
-
Rafa loves the club. He's a bloody fantastic manager, regardless of what a few on here think... his CV says otherwise. With him leaving Inter, it'd be a bloody disgrace if we didn't hand him a contract.... and I don't care if he made money from the previous ones being terminated... pay the man! he can bring us back.
-
Well they cant keep calling off games, the fixture pile up will become a problem... I'd say the game will go ahead myself.. they'll pull out all the stops to make it happen. salt and grit around the entire stadium. pity they cant go to a 30 minute half time break and throw the cover with air heaters over it for 15 of it.. stop the pitch freezing on them.
-
im not saying he isn doing a great job (he did take over from Rijkaard!)... but it is surely almost impossible not to do well with that line up. Then again... sum of it's parts and allt hat... and Barca are some bloody team! Just im not sure he would step down to a lin-up like ours well. I WANT RAFA BACK AND RAFA ONLY. I understand yer concerns there alright. It has crossed my mind about him returning but once I thought it over... He's returning quickly enough that it's still his team essentially. All the s**** that he/we had to put up with is now gone (the owners)... and I think that the new owners putting Rafa right back in and handing him a pile of cash to sign stars in january would actually work... and by that I mean cause january is usually a panick buy time... but this once, I can see it working well. We're not in the CL so we dont care if players are cup tied.. we just need to get Rafa back and Backed! The big players will come to a team with Rafa as manager.. a rejuvinated Liverpool with stars like Reina, Torres and Gerrard... all who played better under Rafa. Who the f*** is gonna come to a team managed by Hodgson?.... you'd need to give them some bloody wages. If Rafa does come back, I think he should bid for Tevez and just see (it won't go almost certainly but sure what's a fax worth.)
-
With Rafa's agent admitting that they have discussed th epossibility of his contract being terminated but can't say any more on it for now... That for me says Rafa's time is indeed done at Inter. With Rafa being in Liverpool (or very near)... I would say he'll be appointed manager very very soon. WE'LL KNOW EVERYTHING IF WE SEE HIM IN THE CROWD FOR THE BOXING DAY GAME (unless he's in the dug-out ;P)
-
ah yes Klinsmann... the man that every cklub is fighting tooth and nail to get in as manager.... he's some kind of advisor for Toronto FC or something...
-
agreed and it's disgusting. Rafa GOT us... he understoof the liverpool fans. If you don't like him for what he achieved at the club, can you not like him for refusing to call Fergie 'sir'.. I always got a kick out of Mr. Ferguson what about what he called Everton a small club? ... that was fantastic! It achieves little but it shows that he has a sense of humour that for me, is in tune with the fans. God dmanit, I miss watching Rafa look at his watch after every goal we'd score, even if it was in a penalty shoot-out and time wasn't even relevant
-
Before my time Im afraid .. but get well soon.
-
If 1000 fans showed up at the gates of anfield in blistering cold and chanted that they want Rafa back... I think we'd get the wheels turning.... maybe.
-
Whatever happens. Whether it's even possible for Rafa to come back, I just hope that the owners at least consider the option of bringing Rafa back. I hope that they take a look at his track record and investigate what happened between himself and the previous owners. It would be great if they even grabbed the main players from our team aside and had a chat with them on their opinion on the matter. I personally would love top see Rafa back at Liverpool but only if the new owners are to have complete confidence in him and back him financially. There is one (for me anyway) very interesting thing about Rafa possibly coming back to Liverpool NOW. That is, he knows the team and he would have a good idea of who to get in January to get us going again. he'd have a better idea of who to get than any other manager... So I would love for Inter to sack him and for LFC to back him.
-
I've told you already that I see 2007, a CL final appearance as being a success in itself.. before you jump down my throat and say that we won nothing!... we appeared in the greatest club competitions final AGAIN with something like 100 million viewers around europe.. we lost a single game and as a result, Rafa has achieved nothing.. who the hell did we go through in order to get to that final? it wasnt f***in shrewsbury. I guess yer not trying to wind people up and yer view is actually against having Rafa back... That's fair enough I guess... but I really enjoyed us being the pride of Europe... YNWA didn't make it's own way onto Torres armband. Rijkaard is a bloody awful manager.
-
Yes but mancini had been barely holding on to his job for a looong time until this.. to be honest, Im amazed he kept it... when Milan and Juve got punished and the title was handed back to inter, everything just went right.. god if only the same thign happened to utd and chelsea ;P
