Nah the man is obviously very very talented... Funny though... Had they not scored that incredibly late goal against Utd .... would we know much about mourinho now? Fenway park (red Sox stadium) is not a mega modern stadium by any stretch of the imagination but it has character... The stadium thing doesnt bother me... what annoys me if the fact that they havent fired Hodgson and even to leave a squirrel in charge until the end of the season... every day he sits down there rubbing his chin is the worst day of my life. These are the kind of players you need to sign if you're to fight your way out of relegation though... jesus christ, what's yer problem.

But Torres wasnt really 'alone' up there, he had Gerrard playing right behind him. They worked fantastically together. Whether Gerrard was an attacking mid or whatever you want to call him, they were still a 'partnership' really. I've noticed that torres even peps up a bit when N'Gog plays alongside him.. not enough but ya.. I think we need to invest heavily in our attack and now... Torres would be like a new signing (if he can stay fit)

I don't see why we can't throw a bid of £25 million in also.. let the player decide who he wants to go to. You might think that's a no brainer but I wouldnt be at all suprised if we make a much bigger splash in the transfer market (hopefully this window) this year than people expect. I can see us signing a top striker and a top attacking midfielder this window if we're lucky.

And this is before he started picking up injuries. I think you're wrong. I think we need both. and if not a creative type player thne i'd go for striker. Torres is utterly alone when it comes to talent in the strikers department. Besides, it isnt so much a better ball being played to him that he needs as less markers and more space to work with. A quality striker would not only take the burden of goals off his shoudlers to some extent, he'd pull markers away and generally give Torres more to work with.
