Agree he`ll be missed, but disagree about his motives. He`s 29 and gets offered the chance to finish his career at one of the biggest clubs in the world, with a real pedigree and a possible, final opportunity to win the CL, which a player of his magnitude deserves. I think that he`s realised its the right time to go, as Arsenal have been also-rans for too long in the CL, with things looking like they won`t change for maybe a couple of seasons, by which time; of course; events may have passed him by. I say good luck to him and cheers for gracing the Premier League. But now he`ll have to find out what VA VA VOOM means in Spanish or Catalan.
