Like I kind of said in an earlier post, none of us would have heard of him if we didn't all love football in the first place, and therefore all the moreso cos he always fearlessly gave everything on our hallowed turf for the club and the fans.
I always say "Football is life", and I don’t just do so as a throwaway comment. It's something I really believe. The tears, the joy, the pits, the euphoria, the illogical love of players and managers past and present we've never met, the community, the rivalry, the family, the annoying neighbours, the other lot, the conversations, the slagging.
I love it all, and Jota will forever be a deep and memorable part of that.
