ehhhhhh I love Robbie and Im glad he came back to us even if he didnt get much time of the pitch.. he scored some goals and even though id like to see him offered another contract I think the trip to america would be a good idea. also I know that he wouldnt see much of the pitch here next year.. its a shame but its reality.

Rather than having a big huge argument that could unsettle the team if it gets big, how about anyone who doesn't like the takeover goes off and ***** themselves... go support someone else if you 'cant support liverpool anymore'. I can only see the stadium being sponsers by coca cola... and they'll pay a record fee to get it too i bet. the liverpool 'reds' ;p makes me laugh alright how they use location names and nicknames together... but when teams move around like they do over in america they kinda have to... anyway , as far as sponsers go coca cola would be a pretty cool one... never know they might also double up and throw their name on our shirt too. when does our deal with carlsberg end? cause that wont be e xtended unless carlsberg come up with some serious cash.

they statrted a company named kop lmt. who bought liverpool FC. so the club is owned by a company basically. If they fall out the company still owns liverpool.. there would be no division.

pennant didnt.. im not bashing him, he tried but he should have concentrated on getting the early ball in rather than beating people cause it wasnt happening for him today. Bellamy was very good today compared to the rest. ran his ass off and put them under pressure to put the ball out of play in their own half loads of times. there was too much tension for any real creativity though.

Ya I was so disgusted with him today. it made me remember why I was startying to hate him before.. there is no place for him in the team. Did nothing but dive and foul people all day.

agreed, also the fact that Gillett and Hicks are seasoned sports developers.. the game might be different but a lot of the underlying factors would be the same.. I tihnk the Gillett approach would be better for the club.. they would know more about it and have proved a success in the past. so im strongly for the gillet-Hicks deal. he's right... 45 and change is way better than 75k however I dont think we'd fill a 75k seater stadium for most games... i dont know though... anyway have demand figures or something?

You're right, Kuyt did skint up the palce in the first half, I remember texting my friend and sayingit but that i wouldn't take him off as it might come good for him... sure enough, when you put in as much effort as he does you can turn a bad day into a good one. people talk a lot about his effort which is fantastic, but what makes me such a huge fan of his is his teamplay and intelligence. he is not at all selfish and this benefits our results no end. This plus his ability to link up so so well with the other creative players int he team really does give liverpool a cuttign edge that they really didnt have before... we can now carve open those weaker teams who come to anfield for a draw. that is no longer an option for them and this is part of what Kuyt and the other players are doing right this term. With the way things are going, I really am wondering if maybe we are the best team in the premiership... however I am very worried that we will not show it.. Im worried that we will start poorly again next term and be faced with an almost impossible task of climbing back up with a record breaking run of wins... I am optumistic for this season though which says a lot about the confidence in our team to actually win each game as it comes. We are talking about gaining huge ground on utd and chelsea even though there is a fairly large gap there. It's a very very tall order however I am going to watch this space a long with many other people... a few results go our way and things might really start to heat up.

I would sya it has more to do with the crowd owning him not giving liverpool the permission to loan the player, as west ham dont actually own him then they have no right to say who takes the player on loan. what makes me worry about it is that the company would have an agenda. Teves and mascherano are owned by a company who are headed by a guy who wanted to buy west ham... he loaned the players in advance of the deal but things didnt work out and he ended up not buying them... what happens then? the 2 players are dropped from the team and left to warm the bench... I think there might well be some very soar grapes going on here.

I am also worried. I am trying to think of some positive spin on this but I have nothing. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

I think the deal will still go through. Im sure the people at liverpool are going to be on the phones for the next few hours, they'll sort somemthing out and fax the proper papers to the FA. Aslong as they get em in before midnight they are safe.

I usually dont agree when people say stuff about andy gray but you're dead right about Kuyts goal...I was quite pissed off to hear the s**** he was saying about it. If Gerrard had done the exact same thing he'd be on his knees inserting the ball gagg into his mouth. god the image of him trying to scream 'oh ya beauty' with a ball gag on! sorry anyway I have come to the decision that Gray is not so much anti liverpool as he is anti liverpool players that aren't 'sky sports' outside the lampards and henrys of the league.. the players who even when they arent playing well, are winning the games for their teams. gray might not realise it but we all know that there is more to liverpool than Gerrard. Kuyt is a class act and scored a fantastic goal tonight... even if he wasnt having the best game of his life tonight.., he didnt drop his head and look what happened. well done.

agreed... he has potential to be better though if you ask me... he is impressing me lately so I'll not slag him off. however i will also say againt hat there are things in his game that are lacking . lacking a little too much to ignore.

Reina dont have another 2 to add sorry. people don't realise it, and Ive been critical of Reina before but he was sensational tonight. he caught pretty much everything, some were low wobbly shots that might have spilled easily. he also made a brilliant save that went out for a goal kick plus the one or 2 that he came out and punched, he punched them very well.. I have t say that Im very happy to have such a solid keeper performance for us tonight. Reina impressed me tonight.
