'a big club' with a £100 million player. so most of the advantages. but then they'll all be expected to buy into his various conspiracy theories, personal attacks and underdog approach against anyone half decent.
not sure sturridge much ahead of origi and firmino in the manager's mind. if at all. and we appear to be going into a season with a 433 as plan A which would obviously mean less scope to use firmino behind.
bit less of an issue in midfield 3, if that's where he continues playing. think it'll be him, henderson, can, with mane, firmino and coutinho ahead. although personally I'd be tempted to start origi with the problems they have at centre half.
beginning of this thread an abomination. must be really rubbish to have almost no optimism about the future of a virtual kid, even if he's been s*** the two or three times you've seen him, or ultimately it doesn't work out. seeing players develop at liverpool one of my favourite things about football.
the toughness of the league is an advantage. especially with our schedule. everyone will drop points. it's not easy, of course. all these teams fight and they all have match-winners, on their day. but losing against these types of opponent isn't, on the whole, about a lack of relative quality.
until we consistently beat the teams that haven't spent what we have, don't have the same quality of players, the pissing contest with the three or four glamour clubs that do/have is fairly irrelevant.
if the manager was saying things you sincerely wanted to hear or believed, it'd matter more though right? this isn't a slavish adherence to his every word, but it's natural that where opinion aligns - on how we do our business or moreno - a supporter might feel more justified in voicing that opinion, especially when others have been vehement in presenting opposite view points. ultimately most of what he says will be incidental to the fact that there is just lots of different opinions. don't really believe anyone is so sensitive or has real cause to believe any discussion is being shut down on here. the only thing that'd really kill it dead is total agreement.
it doesn't kill discussion at all though does it? moreno will continue to be discussed and fans with all sorts of viewpoints will continue to point to, lament or wonder why klopp persists with him. i've made the same point more than once previously. and the post you've erroneously paraphrased isn't my only contribution to the discussion. if you're keen to engage with other points re: moreno feel free to search my post history, and point out how s*** he is in response.
and it's OK to disagree with you and the vast majority of Liverpool fans. as the manager clearly does to some extent. i'm not the one trying to kill discussion. i gave a point of view and you weighed in with "he's s***", "you're overthinking it". do you not rate growler?
