I know what you mean. I'd have Hart over Mignolet in a Hartbeat, but there's a sense that it just brings more destabilisation to the position. As in - let Karius just be the good one, and Mignolet carry his bags for the season. Hart comes in - all quite good and feisty - and we spend the season talking about who is best in goal. I don't need that stress in my life. There's a counter dissonance in my head though that says - what of Karius turns out to be Westerveld and we end up lumbered with him and the MIng when we could've just had the half decent Joe Hart. Who by then, will be an Everton legend. I meet seek professional help on this.

No one was perceptibly better or worse than him against Burnley. Against Arsenal he played very well. He was part of an exceptional attacking unit. Ditto for Burton. You made a point of saying he'd started the season badly. He just hasn't.

It's a really solid defence. No great highlights, no world beaters, but lots of solidity . Quite a bit of experience. Some pace on the flanks. What I like about those sides is anyway you riddle it, there's options off the bench.
