Florist Cinema Pond Goal

We’ve been s*** all across the board this season but the revisionism about last season has to stop. We were very good, partly because we had a much better squad than this season. The manager was doing a better job also and Salah was praising his tactical changes and how he prepared them for each game. We played it slow for sections of games but when we wanted to go through the gears we could (I’m thinking Newcastle away even though we lost, Fulham at home with 10 men, Brighton at home) Just saw a stat that had Arsenal down as the lowest proportion of open play goals of all PL Champions if they win it this season. Last season we had the 4th highest.

Think it probably was a foul on the keeper but they’ve not been giving fouls on the keeper for the last couple of seasons so who knows what a foul is these days s*** league, s*** season

They’ve done it now Burnley and Palace are awful and nothing really to play for

Given we won the league last season I can take the bad results but it’s the style of play and the stuff around Salah for me. Need a reset

Just a reminder before this pen gets given that Chelsea lost 7 league games in a row before today

Set piece or shot from outside the box

Hahaha how’s that not a pen

Took me a while to realise this wasn’t about Jose Enrique

You can’t look at the bench in our last game and think we can only sell to recruit. We need a few more players on top of what we already have, and we know we’re already losing 3

Football’s a s*** game anyway Let’s play hungry hungry hippos

Transfer policy reminding me of Chelsea or United in recent years. Random collection of highly paid players with inflated transfer fees with no cohesive plan as to how they’re going to fit together. Getting rid of a big chunk of the squad each summer doesn’t help especially when you’ve sacked off all the talented youth (so clever to get fees for them though wasn’t it).

Zero glimpse of what’s to come in the future second half of this season. Injuries haven’t helped but there’s been nothing. Klopp’s ‘bad’ seasons of 20-21 and 22-23 we did well at the end of the season and followed them up with decent seasons. Does anyone think we’ll actually be better next season? I don’t trust Hughes/Edwards to fix the squad and don’t trust Slot to manage this set of players.

Wow nicely done

We should have convinced Kelleher he’d be playing more than half a season

Would take a 2-0 defeat now because this could still get ugly

Can we bin Neville and Carragher as co-commentators now. Putting them on United Liverpool games is always terrible

Maybe we should try taking 5 touches each and slowly passing it round their box until they counter us and slice through our non existent defence

Summer business looking terrible right now Lost a load of high energy players and replaced them with these spoofers

This could be 7 or worse

There it goes

Sorry state of affairs but I’d take a 1-0 defeat now

The smugness coming out of the club being leaked to the media that we were getting good money for someone who was turning 28. w***ers.

Agree on Jones. Thought he, Gakpo, Mo and Dom had some good moments. Thought we played with some fluidity in the closing stages. Isak should be a bench player for the rest of the season. Get him ready for next season now, this season’s gone for him. Woodman statistically our best league keeper of all time

How bad are the rest of the league

Thought we played well for the few mins before the goal. Not sure about the rest of the game Definitely better once Isak was off
