Sorry my points were camouflaged, what I meant to say was, IMO: 1. Benayoun isn't good enough to fill the right hand side of midfield specifically, or anywhere else in the team. 2. Ginger is not good enough at left back (he made Benayoun look good) 3. Crouch and Morientes don't score anough goals

Yossi Benayoun linked in todays papers. Another one in ten (Smicer/Berger), who generally has no final ball. Ok he had a decent game on saturday, but remember he was up aginst the Weakest Link. IMO saturday showed, yet again, that we are weak up front, and at left back (where West Ham had most success)

Yes, he has pace the rest do not. In the last half dozen away games, he has played well, and scored/setup important. Rafa keeps playing him in the away games ... + 17 goals, is decent in anyone's language. You can tell, he WILL be a BIG success, why not HERE ?

I don't know if anyone else is following a similar trait to me, but during games, I've taken to counting our wasted set plays, in particular CORNERS and FREE KICKS, (sad I know). Steven Gerrard takes and WASTES the bulk of them (and we MUST have had more than ANY other team in the prem). He makes Danny Murphy look a master. We desperately need to sort this out. Noone at the club appearas to be able to deliver on a consistent basis. Take Bolton for example (only an example, before the rose tinted brigade strike), if they were to get the number of set plays we get in any game, would they score ?? probably Will Rafa sort this out in the transfer window ? how ? who ? Simao ?
