I think, based purely on the fact he's a central midfielder, that he won't ever be seen as a first team player here. I've heard Southampton want him for £750k though, not sure if we could get more elsewhere or if we even need more with the warchest.

I remember that one as well. It went right behind Kuyt insead of Baros, Dirk needed a touch though.

He's always been fairly shocking. Just hit it off with a few screamers and it has taken people this long to realise he's s****. I think some teams might well still have an interest in him though...

I'd have done Crouch for Kuyt after about 55 minutes. And then Kewell for Zenden on the hour mark and stuck to the same formation. If that wasn't having any influence then I would have brought Bellamy on for Alonso after 80 minutes and gone with an attacking 4-4-2.

Heard that last week from a mate who supports Crewe. I think the Daily Star have been using some Crewe message boards... As I said to him - would be a good move for all involved though.

They're right. Some people can't except any criticism of this club or it's players but Kuyt is simply not good enough for the highest standard of football. He should never have started ahead of Crouch.
