I wouldnt sell Crouch. Just look at the way the Milan team sh*t themselves when he come on. Had he come on earlier we may still be celebrating number six. Crouch is improving his heading ability and once he becomes more aggresive he will be almost unplayable for a defender. Even at £20 million he would be hard to replace.

I think getting Tevez on a loan signing would be a great bit of business. If the cash is a bit tight this summer it would allow Torres to be the big signing this pre season and Tevez the big signing next season. The extra cash given to us from Sky and Champs Lge run should have paid for Torres so hopefully cash should be available for Tevez.

If that was true then we would have a lot more cash then some people think as we wouldnt be relying on the cash from Bellamys sale.

Quite a few times last season when teams dropped deep against us we had no creativity upfront therefore allowing the opposition defence to keep us out quite easily. Torres whilst having the ability to beat his man through skill, a attribute Crouch has, also has the pace to take him into the space he has created for himself, something Crouch cannot do. Out of all the strikers we have been linked with this summer Torres has always been my first choice because he has young, bag of potential, already at a high level and more then the other strikers he has shown a desire to actually play for Liverpool.

Other then the mancs who have Chelsea and Arsenal signed. Chelsea have signed 2 free transfers and neither of them are extactly world beaters. For me its pretty obvious that our main targets are from La Liga and therefore their season is still ongoing. Im pretty certain plenty will happen soon. Ive got to be honest i would like us to sign a top name. It would give the fans a boost after the Champs lge final but c'mon check the date, its the 2nd of June not the 2nd of August. I think quite a lot of people are adopting the Chelsea fan syndrome which is they expect us to go on a spending spree and be signing a new player on a daily basis.
