I think Defoe would be a good signing. When he first burst onto the scene i instantly thought he was a carbon copy of Owen and would go onto great things. His career seems to have stood still at the moment but under Rafa i feel Jermaine would become a top striker under us. I personally think the fee would be around the 8 million mark which is what i would expect to recoup from selling Cisse back to France.

I think Nando had to go now before his value went even lower. I think that both Cisse and FSP will be sold but only 1 striker brought in and 1 right winger allowing Gerrard to play in the role of just behind the striker. It also wouldnt surprise me in the slightest if Cisse is not sold due to him at least scoring for us.
