    Alves

Not been here long, so don't really know much, but if Figaro does give correct info you should be happy to have it, not upset that he doesn't blab every single piece of this 'info' he knows to a bunch of strangers on an internet forum.
  3. Getting back to the thread title.... transfers.... Alves wants to come, and has been talking about is...sounds like the deal must be close now if all we have to do is agree a fee, which should be easier as Seville seem to have realised they ain't keepin him.
  4. Smacks of rubbish to me...but will post it anyway... Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez is watching developments at Juventus carefully. The Serie A champions are currently at the centre of an alleged match-fixing scandal in Italy, which could well result in their relegation to Serie B if they are found guilty. If this is the case the majority of their stars are widely expected to leave the club, and Benitez has set his sights on two of their big-name players. French international David Trezeguet could be an addition to the Anfield squad as the Reds look for another striker to bolster their ranks following the departure of Fernando Morientes. And reports in Italy suggest the Spaniard has also set his sights on midfielder Mauro German Camoranesi, who has also been linked with a move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. http://www.fansfc.com/frontpage/frontpagen...p?newsid=153860
  5. £20m In that case Gerrard is worth £200m
  6. Wow that is value Spaghetti
  7. The bit at the end where he talks about it lasting 5 or 10 days always makes me laugh everytime I see it.
  8. Is this possibly the worst advert ever? I hate it! I hate it! I hate it!
  9. As a matter of fact yes as my brother in law supports them. Dirty German
  10. I already said i was trying to prove a point that some people will believe that anything that is posted. I actually did hear a rumour, but it's pure ballack's.
  11. Hamburg seem to buy their players very quietly, hearing nothing till it's a done deal. That's how they're getting class young players.
  12. Didi is and always will be a legend at Anfield. Will get a great reception when he returns. No point him staying when we all know he won't play much with xabi and momo above him. Maybe we should tell Freddy Flinstone he can only have Hamann if he takes Djimi as well.
  13. Hopefully, although the price would be small. Less than what we paid. Although Rafa seems to think he can bring the best out of him like his Leeds days. Not seen anything that suggests he's anywhere near so far...
  14. Far too generous with the outs, wishful thinking most of them are just not going to happen at that price. I'd be happy with £10m for the lot of them (but keep Carson)

    New Kit

Would look much better without the Carlsberg logo. They pay us crap compared to others (Spurs for one)
  16. did a bit The president of the Seville, José María confirmed today that he has received a "succulent offer' for Daniel Alves. "There have been some very good offers, but that doesn't mean they will be accepted" "Everyone knows Liverpool have been following Alves for 18 months, and each week offers a million euro more"
  17. It's fate, he'll score the winning goal in the CL final... Bump this post as appropriate.
  18. Is it me or has the Alves deal been ' imminent' for the past 4 weeks?
  19. Like Gomez said, if the clause expires before the CL Quals are played it's shoddy agentmanship (word?) This would mean only Man Utd and Chelsea could use this clause, which is highly unlikely. I'm sure lawyers could prove that we aren't in the CL, but there are certainly ones that could prove we are.
  20. The CL qualifiers are still CL, end of.
  21. What ever happens we'll need to buy 2 strikers, just maybe not as good as they were going to be. Morientes has gone, and Cisse won't be fit for the whole of the season. Even if he makes it back as early as xmas time, he'll still be a liability in terms of mental/physical fitness. I predict we'll have to pull out of a deal for a expensive RW (Alves) and Pennant's move has become a lot more likely. Maybe use that saved money to fund a cisse replacement. Don't forget if we do decide to sell Cisse summer 2007, i doubt anyone would be willing to pay £8m for him, so we've lost out there as well.
  22. Sion

    cisse

I suppose it's similar to him going on loan with view to a permanent move... Doubt he'll play much of the coming season, and probably still be sold this time next year.
  23. Sion

    cisse

Are you sure that jagged bit on the photo isn't his shin pad? Because if that's his leg
  24. cissé said "yes" to marseille, but i'm guessing now marseille won't be to keen.
  25. Sion

    cisse

Don't get me wrong, I'm sad for lad... But there goes £8m from the transfer kitty.
