I think if Rafa hadn't have seen Kewell have the game of his life for Leeds (the one he always talked about vs Arsenal I think) he'd have been shipped off ages ago. He reckons he can get the best out of him, but I have yet to see it more than 10 times in his reign.
Maybe Kewell could be sold to fund Kuijt, who has played on the wing for Holland, and could provide back up for Gonzalez/Aurellio/Riise. Or not neccesarily Kuijt, but a similar player.
He was bad, but I liked the other guy's comment that we normally come out on top against Chelsea, or something like that. We've only beaten them twice, and they were in cup competitions!
Xavi could be correct I think, but it'd be like calling Stevie G, Steve G. I think Alonso just perfers the b. Xabi, or Xavi, is short for Xavier think.
I didn't say he would, I was just challenging how anyone can say Kewell will be first choice when Gonzalez could take the PL by storm, no way of knowing.
Everyone seems to think Carrick is young and can learn, but he's bleedin 25! He's above average at best. His tackling is poor, he's slow and his shooting is terrible. His passing is good, but in comparison to Alonso he's crap.
