  3. This season? Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea?
  4. Would be pretty simple to swap Ox for an overseas top target, then switch someone like Origi or Minamino for Bowen.
  5. Waiting for some bore to come in and tell us that's probably gonna be our starting XI for the first game apart from maybe Jota for Elliott.
  6. Is he any good?
  7. I think there's a couple of transfers that could have a knock on domino effect on our business if they happen. Ben White to Arsenal - allowing Brighton to buy Nat Luis Alberto to Milan - allowing Lazio to sign Shaqiri and maybe even giving us some extra funds from a sell on fee Tom Cairney to Sheff United - Allowing Fulham to sign Harry Wilson
  8. What's the point of ynwa.tv or the Anfield Wrap then if we 'just let them get on with it'. You seem to think everyone's getting all worked up when it's just people questioning whether he's actually good enough.
  9. They also spent 80m on Keïta and Ox. They have more hits than misses but they're not infallible to the point fans aren't allowed to express concerns about possible signings.
  10. Could you imagine what we'd be getting up to if we didn't make top 4? Would presumably be even worse than the current sell to buy strategy. Would probably actively be looking to get 2 or 3 big earners off the wage bill and replacing them with Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray.
  11. Just pointing out that being homegrown doesn't mean we have to sacrifice quality.
  12. So would Sancho. But you know, if it was that much of an issue that we're having to sign mediocre attackers then we shouldn't have f***ing registered Adrian for another year.
  13. Bowen would be us trying to do the We Are Very Clever thing again whilst our rivals get top talents. Low wages, English, knows the league. We can't keep making Everton level signings and challenging for honours. It's too much pressure.

  17. West Ham twitter seem to think they want Origi as an alternative to Abraham
  18. There's also the possibility Spurs sign Ings if they lose Kane which could net us 4-6m. Same with Luis Alberto. Could be another 10m unless Lazio do some tricky accounting.
  19. Philips 15 Wilson 10 Shaqiri 10-15 Ben Davies 5-10 Origi absolutely no idea but say 10-15 Minamino 10-15 Grujic 10 Neco 10m Awoniyi and Millar 8 Not far off 100m
  20. 7 midfielders is absolutely enough. But too many of them are not good enough or not reliable enough. Keïta and Ox are a complete waste of time for me. We've basically got 5 CMs.
  21. Keïta and Ox are pretty much proven to be not good enough and incredibly unreliable. Hendo is injured 3 or 4 times a season guaranteed. Milner is pushing 40. Curtis is hit and miss. Would you feel comfortable playing a big match with 2 of Ox, Milner, Keïta, Jones starting? One would be bad enough based on last season.
  22. Don't all of our current centre mids have a history of recurrent injuries?
  23. Did you not say similar last summer about not needing a new CB and having Fabinho cover would be fine?
  24. Its always next summer with these guys.
  25. They've basically done the Chelsea tactic of signing 1000 youngsters and putting their costs down as youth development to avoid FFP. When a few of them eventually turn out to be half decent they can sell them and class the fees as profit for FFP purposes.
