  1. I was *right* behind the Kop goal - and how he didn't award any of the THREE obvious penalties is beyond me. He is a terrible Ref. For the record: VERY Obvious handball on the floor - pushing the ball out of danger VERY obvious push on Finnan as he jumped to head the ball VERY obvious hack-down of Garcia in the area Rennie is a complete muppet. Shouldn't be allowed to even referee under 5s matches.
  2. Obviously a win would have been very nice - but looking at it objectively - every manager has bogey sides So far - ours have been Man U and Brum. Last season Brum beat us twice. This season we have drawn twice. That is progression - and only an unfortunate own goal and the intervention of the crossbar on a few occasions stood between us and a first win against them Next season I think we'll win twice. HURRAH!

  12. I would be gutted if he were banned and got away with not having to go to Anfield We should start a campaign to make sure he's not banned.

  16. ... You can tell I was being silly... .. Beckham would never have got into that team ahead of the Dolly..
  17. I'm just being silly I'm suprised that Jonsey hasn't texted me to ask me if it's true yet
  18. Further news just in.. DAVID BECKHAM featured in a game played on the Rec just off Walton Breck Road In an impressive line up, he featured with some of the local lads as they faced the Priory Road under 11s Alongside Beckham were: Timmy Tucker (6), Jimmy Jumbles (6), Fred Naylor (6), Paul Willheim (7), Nigel Fluffulump (7), Boris Karloff (7), Sarah Greenwood (5) (Playing because her brother had been grounded for not eating his tea), Phillip Ferlew (7) and Jason Smith (The old man of the Group at 9 years of age) After a poor first half with Priory Road going in 3-0 up, the Disappointing Beckham was substituted by Graham Norris (3) who went on to score a hat-trick before Sahrah tripped up and hit the ball into the net with her Dolly 'Missy Pinkie'
  19. The only way it can get better is for me to be in the away end rather than the Kop that game.
