I think he might start with downing and allen, and then swap them for hendo and phil later on. Try to control the game until they're tired and then add a little spark of creativity and get Hendo to press.

Really impressive half from the spoofers team. Good combination of direct play and slow build up. Hard to keep possession against 5 in the midfield.

Really impressed with Dunn, he's creative and got a bit of Suarez's relentlessness. Was impressed with the 15 year old centre half too. Ibe is boss.

Up until now I had assumed lucas, but there's something about having Suarez as captain that seems brilliant.

Gerrard has generally played better for Liverpool than for England partly because our best teams have been set up to play to his strengths. Plenty of other examples of this. Not always. For example the Spanish t*** at Chelsea, Real Madrid and Zidane. Sheva at Chelsea etc.

Since the new boys have taken over the scouting department our operations seem to have improved. Hard to judge on just one window but both deals seemed to go smoothly and we got decent prices for the players. Hopefully this will continue.
