sounds like we are rushing him back to me. same as alonso v arsenal (who would have certainly gone on to win that game for us, he was out of this world after the break), the stakes are high and rafa feels it's a risk worth taking. i'm not sure whether it is, but it does sound like a premature return to me.

Yon Reese did have his best game for a year today, he still needs to leave the club like, but he was solid defensively and didn't manage to break up too many promising situations with brainless tonks. Kewell looks terrific, has slotted in so well since the second he came on at ewood. it's a f***in boon having him back and no mistake.

Bolton are big Sam's kind of opponents. agger's return is vital because it means carra doesn't have to play the more expansive game which is so unnatural to him, running, passing creatively etc. He's the best blocker in the world, his season will pick up when danny agg gets back.

Benayoun does have good days and off days, would say the same about voronin, he looks godawful at times, and turns in world beating performances at others. what a strange sentence.
