Poor lad. Also, poor us. We buy 2 strikers to the tune of 230m in the summer of 2025, one cant start the first season fit and the other cant start the second season fit. It's going to be 2027 by the time they're ready to (properly) start together.

I'm slightly more positive. We were playing against the best team in Europe without our 2 star strikers fit & available for most of the game. If we'd gotten that penalty or 1 of our chances went in it could have got interesting. I'd rank it as a C-, which is an improvement on the E's and F's i've seen this season.

I thought we looked better yesterday. It’s obviously a very low bar, but we were much more up for it and had decent energy. We’re unlucky that Isak is still not the 150m signing he was and also unlucky that our brightest forward was injured early. But we created decent chances and looked lively. Thats not to praise Slot, it was just about the minimum acceptable performance. It was a lot better than previous dross though.
