Kerkez & Bradley/Frimpong. I reckon they'd all be awesome as wing backs. We don't have enough CB's. So if we're going 3-4-3 we'd need 2 shiny new CB's. However, if we keep with the system we have now we need new wide forwards, at least 1 on the left and at least 1 on the right, and they'd need to be really good. From a recruitment point of view it's probably easier to play 3-4-3 next year than 4-3-3.

My question was by what rule was advantage not played. As far as i can tell @Ombudsam was the only one who was able to give a logical explanation. Besides, i oft get the impression that referees make up the rules as they see fit...

I still don't understand what happened. When there's a foul but the side whose been fouled against has the advantage then the advantage is played. Why didnt the ref just accept there was a foul, play advantage and allow the goal to stand? If it was the first minute of the game and the options are goal or red card + penalty it's perahps debatable, but in the last minute of the game with a team winning 2-1 it's obvious they prefer the goal.

I think you're both right. Isak & Ekitike are good options to have as forwards. We really need to improve the wingers, or play a system that uses wing backs insteam of wingers. Cause Gakpo/Salah/Chiesa arent bringing it.

If it's Slot's fault that Bradley is injured, does that make it Klopp's fault that Bradley was so often unavailable previously? There's plenty of sticks to beat Slot with, not sure i want to touch the injury stick.

I probably wouldn't, i'd put that on Salah being the amazing player he is. That's why i also don't blame him now for Salah's decline. Don't think you can have it both ways. Either you praise Slot for last year's Salah and blame him for this year's version, or you say it's down to the player, and it's not down to Slot that he's not hitting last year's numbers.
