I don’t mind players being fined a decent percentage of their obscene wage, as long as they actually pay it and not the club. Also as long as this is something we will see consistently and not a one off as is usual with us.

A long time ago they just became players to me, probably around puberty if I’m honest. I don’t expect anything more from them but to perform on the pitch and be available for selection as much as possible. I don’t hero worship any players, but of course I did hero worship Kenny because I was a kid at the time. I think in Jan 2023 the players wages accounted for around 62% of the clubs income, while this isn’t their fault it makes almost anything they say ludicrous and I take no lessons in morality from them and their parasite agents and never will. I’ve always viewed football as an escape from the weary world and it’s madness, that’s impossible these days and one of the reasons I edge ever closer to binning my season ticket (no you can’t have it) Basically players should play football and shut the f*ck up about anything not directly related to football, ah the good old days.
