Good management and very good scouting network. Scouts briefed on what requirements Arsenal are looking for in potential players. Pace, Skill, Movement, Determination. The problem is deep rooted at Liverpool from the Academy upwards, the club has been run with an old and traditional outlook for a number of years now. Only until GH took over in 1998 and introduced new facilities, methods of training/scouting/planning etc for the future did things slowly change. Rafa is building on what Houllier started, by modifying the existing scouting methods at the club, but face facts until this takeover happens we dont have the resource to entice the best youngsters or players to Liverpool. See Walcott/Denilson etc. Sooner the DIC thing happens the better it will be for all of us.

Unfortunately our financial resources means Rafa cannot buy the players he would like. Until the Investment is sorted we can't compete with Man U and Chelsea for the title it is plainly obvious. However our season is far from over, on our day we can beat anyone and easily win the Champions League or FA Cup again. We're all pissed off about the league but all we can do is ensure we get the 3rd or 4th place.
