Horrible news

PSG, made me think of their weekend off before they played us (and got midweek off too) “Which is very obviously not the case here. Before we start doling out mythic status it is worth acknowledging the true nature of this feat. Essentially PSG have managed to win nine key games from February to May two years in a row, with a team, a schedule and an ever-giving ownership entirely geared to that spring mini-season.…. Ideally a European champion team, in the form first devised by L’Équipe itself 70 years ago, is supposed to express the strengths of its domestic league, to emerge from that crucible ready to show the rest of Europe why this system, right now, is the best. Instead the domestic league has been bypassed. The current PSG express nothing about Ligue 1 and everything about their own ambition and power. Nuno Mendes and Marquinhos have both played more minutes in the Champions League this season than in Ligue 1. Ousmane Dembélé started 11 of 34 Ligue 1 games and is basically a midweek player after Christmas, peaking for those dates. “ https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2026/may/31/psg-arsenal-champions-league-final-qatar-football

So Enrique is used to working with a paper thin small squad Very interesting

Was against us in the Barca 4-0, well the one they won 3-0 but should have won 4-0

I reckon Curtis will not make a quick decision pre new manager.

Please mister, can we have our baller back?

Doesn’t seem to be a prerequisite for Gakpo

It’s a very very different style to Klopp, and he’s clearly not trying to be Klopp. But rather than coming across as giving them the limelight it came across as totally disinterested and remote. Especially not even walking around the pitch to accept the plaudits/abuse.

Perfect for our corners.

I’m still befuddled by the total lack of goal celebration, even after VAR. I’ve seen bigger celebrations in training.

But it’s a long weekend. He’ll be on holiday somewhere

Ekitike looked in a bad way

Class from him to mention Guardiola and Coleman

Slot made a dash for the airport?

Kenny looks as bored as the rest of us

Mo in tears

Save Kweev

West Ham are done

That was technically a shot on target (Kelleher saved)

10 more minutes of the season and then it’s over.

My house is very dusty.

Got dust in my eye here

West Ham have scored but would need Everton to score 2 for them to stay up.

So is it a drink break or a coaching session?
