i unfortunatetly, or judging by the posts here, fortunetly only caught the second half, i forgot it was tv and was listening to it on the internet anyway, from the second half performance im now convinced that Crouch is on his way out, his reaction when substituted was poor, he had a right little strop on him when 1 minute was gone in that second half i said we`d lose, absolutly out muscled in the centre, love him or hate him ,that Robbie Savage fella puts in some tackles, he played Gerrard off the park today, im not a big fan of the Gerrard the person(judging by his book, interivews etc...), and still think he lacks a bit of fight in a normal run of the mill league match, but getting outplayed by Robbie f***ing Savage is scandalous, his whole agenda today was get the ball give a quick pass and run into 3 blackburn defenders, expect the ball to miracoulously reappear in front of him, and when that didnt hapen he`d throw his hands up in the air and stop playing, terribly annoying for a fan Gonzalez again was pretty poor, ill give the lad credit, he may be playing s***, but he still looks for the ball, and tries ,god loves a trier as they say alonso again proved to me, why he`s our best player, throwing his body around, shooting, spraying passes, if god had just given him 2 more yards of pace, he`d be the best midfielder in the world, the guy epitimises The Liverpool Way in my eyes we knew we couldnt win the league, so its not that much of a blow, but still annoying as f*** to lose to them shower of s****s i hope Bellamy is fit for the nest game

exactly, i couldnt name a game that we`ve won with him in it when he hasnt contributed to at least 1 goal, the guy is brilliant, the epitamy of TEAM PLAYER

Aston Villa maybe, i think David Villa is well worth it though but id be a little sceptacle wheter he could cut it in the premiership

as a matter of interest, did Gerrard get the Partridge and Owen style hype when he was a nipper? i think everyone knew of Owen, but i didnt have the internet back then and i cant ever remember hearing of Gerrard until that Celta Vigo game

dare i say it, Pennant motm??? i thought the lad played very well today, he was up against a fellow rudeboy(Rosenior) and gave him the run around most of the times, fairplay to the lad!! good game overall, some neat and tidy football, kept patient, and got our rewards p.s, i hate Chris Coleman!!!

the difference with Kuyt compared to alot of other strikers is that workrate, even if his touch is off, with that immense workrate he`ll make something, he`s so dangerous, gotta love the guy happy with the win, and our play after the goal, it`d be great to get a win on wednesday now, and that would set us up nicely for wigan next week ,could be the start of a decent run

maybe you didnt watch the same match, he ran by his marker, ONCE, and got to the by-line, other than that, he was his anominous self, no wait, not anominous, he got a mention when he went off injured, so at least the commentator got to say his name for once

ill start off with the game thought we where excellent, makes it even more baffling why we`re so crap in the premiership best game this season by Gerrard, tail firmly between my legs, i thought he was immense, a true captains performance, run close for man of the match by Finnan, who was solid, no one played poorly tonight except for the obvious, Pennant next point, is he really injured, or did he bottle it?

either Xabi or Kuyt Kuyt all round workrate and his attitude towards his team members is arguably the best ive ever seen

i just had to say Joaquin before he plays like s***, talk about jinxing him but that kind of player, im sure im not the only one here that was gutted when we signed Pennant as our new wing sensation, to think of the wingers we`ve had, Heighway, Barnes, McManaman, and now Pennant, hardly a comparison is it, we needed to break the bank and we didnt, wheter it was Rafa not spending the money, or we didnt have the money, either way, we wanted lobster thermidor but ended up with fish fingers
