  1. Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is surprised by the intense scrutiny of his actions this season. The former Fulham chief is under pressure after a poor start to the season and has found a lot of his decisions dissected in minute detail by pundits and fans. Hodgson said: "This football club have a lot of players who have played for Liverpool for a long time. "Every other day they've probably read or heard some nonsense about them and they seem to be a pretty hardened bunch. "I'm relatively hardened but I've been spared too much at Fulham, where never a bad word was said. "It is an interesting thing for me to get into the type of mindset Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard are so good at. "Having heard and seen it all before they are quite prepared to shrug their shoulders and write it off. "It is part and parcel of the business of working for Liverpool Football Club. I am beginning to turn it around myself." They remain in the bottom three but last week's performance and victory over Blackburn has eased the pressure. He said: "I hope we carry on from where we left off last Sunday because I thought that was a good team performance and a great victory. "It is very important from the first minute at the Reebok Stadium we are as committed as we were for 90 minutes against Blackburn. "Coming into the next quarter of the season, I'm hoping it won't be as traumatic as the first one has been. "I am hoping by the halfway stage we will be starting to see a little bit of light. "I'm not believing naively we are going to win seven out of nine and fly up to the top of the table but I do want us to move from of the relegation zone. "I want us to continue giving performances where we know from first minute to last we are going to be very difficult to beat and we are going to ask a lot of questions of the opposition." Oh yes, home teams will be afraid of your record away from home.
  2. He's gonna have a PC again today. Can we bet on what s*** he will spout this time?
  3. He'll be gone after this weekend. A win for him away from home is an utopia!
  4. He must have seen the Everton statistics and not ours. We already knew he's blind, but this confirms it yet again.
  5. This is really, really unacceptable.
  6. Frustrating!!!
  7. But Rijkaard has never won the Premier League Manager of the year!
  8. Johnson being two footed is a big plus to him, but his crosses rarely find the player he's supposed to be crossing to.
  9. Beat me to it. I'm sorry Roy, but we do!
  10. Keep saying this, GJ is not a defender. He's terrible at it. And his "famous" crossing ability is a myth as well.
  11. I'm still in dubio. One moment I think we have to win and I can't bear us seeing losing. The other moment I realize that a defeat doesn't hurt as much as it did before because we're so s***. And RFH is responsible for this mess on the pitch and i want him gone more then ever. A win would strengthening his position and we have to put up with him at least another week.
  12. Which would indicate they're not going for Kenny.
  13. I reeeeeaaaaaaalllyyyyy hope so. This man is deluded and will never get this team going. He's destroying that unbelievable talent Pacheco.
  14. He was clearly practicing for Everton. He should not be slated for this.
  15. The worst part of it all, is our position on the table is justified. He's taking us down.
  16. And he's blaming us for that.
  17. Spot on.
  18. Rijkaard is one of the players from Holland greatest sides who isn't just good enough at coaching. His mates Koeman, Gullit and Van Basten all failed heavily.
  19. He almost certainly will be giving Babel another chance!! which would be stupid
  20. And it will be a fantastic learning experience for the youngsters who will be on the bench anyway. Now Roy knows how well they will be at just sitting on the bench. This is valuable information for him and our future.
  21. Unfortunately the list could be longer and longer. And it will get longer as long as this incompetent fool is in place.
