Is it the same knee?

We've been linked with him since around late October early November. We acted early in the summer so since these rumours started gathering pace I expected us to move quickly and get this lad signed. I'm just hoping it's not another Mkhitaryan scenario. This fella is going to be the real deal.

A few different sites reporting today that Zenith are willing to pay double what we are willing to. Yes it's only the 7th but we had Sturridge signed by this time last year. Hope we can get it done this week, if not I can't see it happening which would be a shame, the lad is a real talent.

Liverpool Pull Out Of January Loan Deal For Exciting Young Barcelona Attacker Former Reds manager Kenny Dalglish had previously tried to take the Spanish starlet on loan in the summer of 2012, only to fail in his efforts. Liverpool have no plans whatsoever in taking out-of-favour FC Barcelona forward Cristian Tello on loan for the second half of this season, according to reports in the Liverpool Echo. Read more Liverpool FC news Recent speculation in Spain had claimed that Reds head coach Brendan Rodgers was on the verge of sealing a six-month loan deal for Tello, who has largely found his opportunities to break into the La Liga champions’ first team limited so far in this campaign under new Barca head coach Tata Martino. In fact, the Spain international has made just the 13 appearances in total in all competitions under the Argentinian this season, 10 of which have come in La Liga, although the majority of those have come via the substitutes’ bench, with Tello having managed to contribute just the one goal and the two assists along the way. However, despite the Merseyside giants making an inquiry about the possibility of taking the 22-year-old on loan in the January transfer window, it is understood that Reds boss Rodgers has now decided against following up that interest, with the Northern Irishman instead switching his attacking focus elsewhere this month. http://www.caughtoffside.com/2014/01/01/liverpool-pull-out-of-january-loan-deal-for-exciting-young-barcelona-attacker/?

Coutinho's shooting is awful, truly awful.

Mourinho saying this morning that he wishes Luis would pick up a little injury so that he can't play for the next 4 days. You just know the likes of Terry and co are going to take turns in kicking lumps out of Luis.

We are going to get a tidy sum for him next summer.

The gap in quality between the two sides in midfield was alarming. We simply don't have enough quality in midfield to dominate the top sides. Piss poor.

Henderson proved today he is nothing more than a poor mans kuyt. It baffled me that people rate the guy.

Any links to todays pre match press conference?

Hard to tell but of the clips I've seen so far from his loan spell, he looks to be playing a slightly more advanced role from that of the clips from the recent underage tournament, popping up in danger areas far up the pitch with more frequency scoring and assisting. Hopefully he continues to progress because I ultimately see him playing in the position currently occupied by Hendo/Allen.

Suso has looked very good on loan so far. Looks like he has filled out a bit as well.

Tony Barrett - Liverpool hope to complete four signings before the transfer window deadline on Monday A fee of about £18 million has been agreed for Sakho, and Sporting Lisbon have accepted Liverpool’s £7m offer for Ilori ( Tony Barrett )

Rodgers Press Conference http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MVt-tyT7ZM

All this talk of loan signings to get a competitive squad for next season when the likes of Southampton etc are spending more money especially after increases from tv revenue is worrying, embarrassing, pathetic and disgraceful and a sign of how far we've fallen. It's heartbreaking and I'm on a complete downer right now.

Rodgers press conference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=D0YGOfozcpg

Take this with a pinch of salt obviously but according to Jamie Rednapp he's been training poorly and letting it be known that he's not happy. Seems to think it more about money than CL football.

Over 80,000 at the game apparently.

The Metro are linking us with Shaqiri (sp?) and say we're willing to pay 20 million!

There are exceptions for athletes.

Rodgers mentioned it in an interview today.

Wanyama in London for talks with Southampton.

Now that the Mkhitaryan deal is not going to happen. I'm going back to fantasizing about buying Eriksen and Wanyama for the same amount it would of cost to get him.

Is the correct answer. Stick to compound moves, squat, deadlift, bench, military press, weighted chins and dips. Stop wasting your time bicep curling in the gym ffs
