I'm staggered that Marketing Director is a position specifically created for Markus Breglec, who the hell was in charge of marketing operations before?
We need more width in the opposition half and we have two full backs whose preference is to cut inside. This means we spend most games trying to thread balls through the eye of a needle.
Drop Can into a back 3 and push Clyne and Milner further forward. I'd probably use TAA instead of Clyne and the nuclear option of using Moreno in place of Milner in order to give him a rest.
The point being that every manager retains players from a squad when they take over, so I'm not sure the argument that Klopp doesn't have his "own squad" holds any water. I think Klopp is a great manger but he isn't immune from the criticism about not improving us defensively just because he hasn't been able to bring in 11+ new players Conte has pretty much the same squad from last season playing a new formation really well and Silva and Clement have breathed new life into what were seen to be really poor squads - whether they can maintain it remains to be seen.
Conte doesn't seem to have done too badly with someone else's team. Neither does Clement at Swansea, or Silva at Hull so Im not really sure what point you are trying to make.
In the Spurs match last night Glenn Hoddle was banging on in commentary about how coaching a team to defend was the easiest part of football. He needs to get down to Melwood and show our lot how it's done then, cos we are f***ing clueless.
