Says the poster suggesting Messi. The two players we have been consistently linked with are Pusilic and Dahoud, 17 and 21 years old respectively. Both of their clubs have made it clear that they won't be selling them last summer or this month. We may be able to get them in summer and Klopp appears to be willing to wait. Do you really think that if we managed to sign them this month they would immediately do any better than the 17-21 year old we currently have on the bench who are in tune with the team ethic Klopp wants above all else? Do you think it would be fair to place rhe kind of pressure on them that will come with joining a team halfway through the season that is chasing the title? If we are going to sign anyone this month it would need to be an older head who can handle the pressure of the sky generation who will want them to be an instant success. There doesn't appear to be that many available - for example Chelsea, in a similar position to us, have set their sights on bringing in Llorente on loan as understudy to Costa. Man City, despite what they have already spent, desperately need a new defence and I can't see them bringing anyone in. It just might be that the kind of experience that could go straight into our first team isn't available as their current teams are still in the CL/don't want to sell them. Or it could be such players don't fit in with Klopp's vision.
