  1. That's it, shatter my dreams you heartless batsard
  2. I'd have Aguero over Sanchez
  3. Short sleeved shirts on a goalie looks s***.
  4. Why Stephen Ireland is still football's "king of bling": http://www.independent.ie/style/celebrity/celebrity-features/why-stephen-ireland-is-still-footballs-king-of-bling-34801073.html Benzema's bit of bling: http://lebuzz.eurosport.co.uk/viral/karim-benzema-owns-a-footballworth-160k-1946/ Think Dan's got a way to go to catch up in the bling stakes.
  5. Problem is you don't appear to be able to consider any view other than your own "FSG are evil" standpoint.
  6. Exactly what it reminded me of as well
  7. Thought the first rule of GK coaching was not to fall to your knees as you no longer have the ability to react appropriately. It was a great save from Giroud, but his weakness is he's indecisive, which can unsettle the defence and also stops him launching the ball quickly. He has taken to running to the edge of the area looking to release runners, but just stands there looking at them while he decides whether it's a good idea or not.
  8. Seems to be a debate based around published figures and I don't see anyone here rabidly defending FSG. There can be varying degrees of satisfaction with FSG and you make it quite clear where you are on the scale.
  9. I think there are players you warm to and those you don't. For example I think most people warmed to Fowler rather than Owen. Personally Sturridge is another that it is difficult to feel an affinity for. In the LFC videos of him visiting schools etc he comes across well but don't think he has a special bond with the fans. Often wondered whether he plays football for the love of the game, or just because he has a natural ability for it.
  10. Can't have played many games since we gave him an improved contract. Could do with him getting remotely fit before the summer so we can get the maximum amount for him.
  11. Arsenal fans are all hoping Wenger gets the Barca job.
  12. Not at the moment, transfer window's closed.
  13. I thought he wanted to bring the 1st team together with the academy players? Be better off taking them to Kirkby rather than Tenerife.
  14. Wow, what am I thinking now?
  15. Good win for Newcastle, fully deserved.
  16. Standing on a desk is an improvement on standing on Robbie Fowler's shoulders
  17. Not enough of a "win at all costs" mentality around the club at the moment.
  18. http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/announcements/255263-peter-moore-to-be-appointed-lfc-s-chief-executive-officer Liverpool Football Club has named Peter Moore as its new chief executive officer. Liverpool-born Moore will take up his new role in June and report directly to the club’s owners, Fenway Sports Group. The 61-year-old is currently chief competition officer at Electronic Arts, based in the United States, and will move to Liverpool to join the club in the summer. His nearly 10 years at EA have seen him in a number of leadership positions, including chief operating officer and president of EA SPORTS. Moore has previously held senior roles with Microsoft, SEGA and Reebok. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Keele University in the UK and a master’s degree from California State University. The appointment completes a 10-month transition plan by FSG and finalises the senior management structure at the club.
  19. Find myself agreeing with this
  20. And now United are a point behind with a game in hand
  21. Sakho would have provided more fight than this bunch of spineless wonders
  22. I think tonight has given me the first scintilla of doubt about Jurgen. He's just spent 16 days with them without a game and we look clueless.
