We have signed Allen for 15m and tried to get Sahin. Where does that leave Henderson? He has not played much under Brendan. I thought he would fit well in his system and do well this season.

Sell him or play him. It is pretty simple.

We need a forward more than anything IMO. We should put all our effort into this. Suarez is great but he needs a goalscorer with him. Negrado,or Soldado would be ideal and players we could hopefully get.

Adam and Spearing are not good enough IMO even as backup. Adam must be leaving if Allen is coming in.

Kelly has played CB for the England U-21 and in the games I have watched he has actually been very good.

This is true. But it still says something about certain players. But our lineup is far from what we will see in the PL. Spurs are much closer to theirs.

It just annoys me seeing Adam playing for Liverpool - even in a friendly. He is so poor. That free kick to give away was like what he was doing all the time last season. Def a yellow in the PL.

Better from our boys than I hoped. Roma has a strong lineup. Shelvey the best player first half and Cole has had his moments. Spearing not good enough. Aqua does not look interested.

Spearing is far from being a Liverpool player IMO. Like him as he gives everything but is just not good enough.

Adam is just so far from the standard our club should set and last night he was no different from last season. Set pieces came to nothing, he is to slow and has to loose a few pounds but for me his biggest problems are when we are defending. He just seems to place himself badly and loose his player often wich results to him giving freekicks away. That happened few times last night aswell. We should ship him out.

I agree with this. I think Suso is alot closer than Sterling. Give him games and he will become very good.

Paul Dalglish tweeted on Dempsey when he scored the winner against Italy last winter in a friendly. Said something that if he wasn't an American he would be chased by the top clubs. Maybe we have been after him for some time... Apart from that I think he would be a good signing. Brings goals from midfield and can play as a striker. From what I have seen of Granero I think he would defo bring some much needed creativity to our midfield.

In my dreams we were signing Martinez and Lavezzi but we will probably end up with signing Mark Davis and Clint Dempsey...

I thought the signing of Gylfi would be a easy one. Transfer fee already set and he had already accepted personal terms which BR had full knowledge of. I really don't get it how we let it slip away. But even though I wanted him to sign and think he can become very good BR knows this player better than anyone and if he's not willing to meet his demands then I'm OK with this. And if he goes to Spurs it is not because his girlfriend wants to live in London or that he is a United fan. It is money. Plain and simply. Money first and football second.
