Yes. I it is not because of todays game I say this. We have played well against some of the top teams but overall we have not been good this season. Our summer signings have been dissapointing apart from Enrique and our tactics very poor.

I don't want him out. I just want him to make better decisions! Pick a better team out of our squad and he has to do better in his tactics. I will back him forever BUT he has to do better imo.

Things get worse for Kenny. He made the signings in the summer. They were poor apart from Enrique. He sold Meireles - another poor decision. He picks the team, leaves Maxi out game after game even though he plays much better than Downing, Adam and Henderson. Our attacking play is so slow and those 'crosses' between the middle line and end line to Carroll are so easy to defend. The system dosn't work and that is also down to Kenny.

So the plan for this game is not concede and try to get one goal from a set piece. I am not talking about Stoke...

I agree with this. They have made big signings in Downing, Henderson and Carrol and none of them has delivered imo. I am not saying they are flops and I think the can all come godd but they are still short of that. Therefore the owners might want to see how the season ends before making a new 'big - long term' signing.

Martinez is on the top of my list. I think he would improve us more than any other signing. He is very good and will be awsome imo. Getting him and an attacking midfielder / striker is something we should be looking at. But as you say he's probably not for sale. I think the owners are not going to spend in this window mainly because our summer signings have not proven to be successful. The plan was to get into CL with our summer signings and it is still a possibility.

He has 6 goals from 19 PL games this season. Thats more than any of our players has.

I think Clint Dempsey would be a good signing. He scores like 10 goals a season from midfield, is good in the air and has good skills. He is 28 and therefore older than the players we are signing but I think he would improve our attacking play. Can also play as striker.

Swansea is getting Gylfi Sigurdsson from Hoffenheim on loan in January. He is a former Reading player - scored against us 2 years ago in the cup. He plays a similar role as Sinclair so he could be his replacement.

Is the ban only valid in the PL? If so we should loan him out to spain, france or Italy for those weeks and get someone (like Hazard!) for exchange! Even for rest of the season.

Played very well indeed. Would still like to see him on the left. At the start of the season him and Enrique looked like a great pair on the left side.

Agree. He should be rested in the next game at least.

Downing has been playing well tonight but what I can't understand is that since we were looking for a right sided player why did we end up with Downing??? I just don't get it, and it is unfair on him playing him out of position at the start of his career at a new club. We have Bellamy, Kuyt and Maxi to do good job on the right hand side. Tonight Bellemy plays on the left and Downing on the right. Annoys me. Give Downing a run on the left side and judge him from that.

I still can't agree Adam is a good signing. Still think he is a mid-team-table player. He is so slow and a poor defensive player.

It all comes down to this. Our 'Big' signings last summer have all failed. Add to that Carroll - but I think he was a panick buy.

100% true.

My worry is that our signings have not turned out well after they took over. Actually only Enrique and Suarez have been worth it. So they might not be to willing to trust the judgement of King Kenny and DamienC.
