I don't have a problem with his passing, as someone else has already said his passing isn't inately bad he just picks the wrong option sometimes. He's young, it happens. He's a proper animal, love watching him play. I thought he looked a bit knackered early in the game (as did Xabi) but that soon changed. I assume it'll be horses for courses once we get a right winger, but we certainly look a better team with him in central midfield.

Just proves how wrong many of us were. The suggestion was that we needed to play with a higher defensive line and Sami wouldn't be able to handle it due to lack of pace. All it took was a prematurely bald nutcase of a keeper to dispel that notion. For my money, he's the most consistent defender in the league, and has been since he came here.

booing is not on. I didn't agree with subbing Robbie because Morientes was appalling last night (until he scored - after that a lot of the flick on's etc seem to work out). I can understand the reasons in doing so though. Rafa has already said he wants Morientes to get a goal for his confidence and that Robbie isn't 100%. I was in the lower Anny Rd last night (never again) and if you were the cockney t** in row 14 who spent 90 minutes slagging off the whole team, particularly morientes, I hope you choked on your overpriced hot dog.
