One of the best things about the sky coverage, and something i suppose they'll be doing this season, is football first. You get to watch proper highlights (i.e. a good 50 minutes or so) of any of the days games at about 10pm. They also show a rerun of the days best match in full at about 8pm.
Sky have everything else. Beeb have Linekar, Shearer, Hansen et al talking crap at midnight on a saturday night. And a few FA cup matches where they get to talk more crap. And John Motson, ITV have Heartbeat.
Its gone down. I checked a month back and it was £15 a month. That's 46 matches. Looking at the website there's no 12 month contract. If it works the same was as PPV Setanta games won't be as good. Us Vs the likes of Villa tended to be the ppv ones. Although the Derby has been ppv for the last few years,
Loved his home debut (West Brom was it?) and remember thinking we had a real player on our hands. Wasn't always at that level, but gave us some very good times.
