I know he hasn't, but it got to the point where it was announced on the BBC that it was done and also on West Ham's website. It was only a few weeks ago. The point stands that if Rafa had him down as someone he had to get, it would probably not have got that far. Or at least shouldn't have.

I have come to a conclusion, based on nothing other than reading far too much of this thread than is healthy. We are signing Benayoun because Rafa is blowing all the money on Eto'o, and so needs cheaper players for midfield

Benayoun is an odd one, but it might only make sense in the context of whoever else we buy/sell.

I didn't understand a lot of that, it appears to be in American.

When we are about to sign someone it usually goes through the Echo first, and Bascombe tends to be the one reporting it. Is that not "in the know"? HIs name tends to be the one above all the articles revealing the major news first, such as Rafa joining. Or are you working along the lines of him having burnt bridges because of the takeover? If the above sounds sarcy, it isn't meant that way... Adds naff all as far as I can see. Similar to Garcia. Not as good.

For those of us that don't speak alien - presumably at adds nothing new?
