I honestly dont know what they are going to do. I think there is absolutely a chance that FSG will leave it in the hands of Edwards and Hughes and that those two are smug and self-satisfied enough to believe they know best and are ignoring all the noise by keeping him owing to the mitigating factors for this season which are frequently referenced. Alternatively, he could easily go because we've been s***e all season. I just don't know how anyone can be certain whats going to happen but I really hope that anyone sure he's gone are correct.

The hope remains that they know who they want, can't get him until the summer and are sending the message that Slot is safe to try and keep him motivated to.get CL.

He is generally the most reliable football journalist around isnt he? I imagine he has sources within the club who he trusts and has a fairly decent record of being correct. If FSG were approaching other managers etc by now, as you would hope if they were replacing him soon, he may have heard. Obviously he may be wrong, as he acknowledges. But he is likely to.be as well informed as anyone.
