Liverpool’s midfield priority is Manu Kone - @Ahmadoubamba36 #LF One for Sammya.

Because we needed loads of players, he can cover a few positions and was relatively cheap I guess.

Andoni Iraola again on transfers: “There are certain things we can but it's true we need players in the wide areas. I'm sure if we can improve other areas we will but I don't know how the market is going to finish. I have to be patient as well as you.” “It's very uncomfortable for me as you are dealing with uncertainties all the time. In four or five days we will know what we have and then we can make proper plans.”

Andoni Iraola on transfers: “I don't know what's going to happen. Even myself I have to be patient. Then we get to September 2, this is who we have and the options we have then we can start thinking.” “For now we don't know. I have in my head what I want, we've been talking since the beginning with the club, they know what we want. It's about closing the deals.” Annoying isn't it Andoni?

() NEW: If Gakpo goes to Spurs or Man City, Liverpool will add another winger. Otherwise, they’ll keep Gakpo and stick with the current squad. (@FabrizioRomano YT)

Big weekend f2f meeting not required I guess.

() Liverpool closing in on Bradley Barcola from PSG. Guaranteed fee just above £100 million and about £20 million in add-ons. Still negotiations to take place. (@_pauljoyce)

) Liverpool have reached agreement in principle with Paris Saint-Germain to sign forward Bradley Barcola. The clubs agreed terms of the proposed deal overnight for package above £116m and important last details are being ironed out on Thursday morning. (@David_Ornstein)

I didn't want him sold. We don't have many players and even fewer who can score a goal.

Can't wait for tomorrow's breaking news that LFC and PSG are due to have crunch talks in the Barcola transfer in the next 24-48 hours and all parties are confident that the deal will go through.

[] INFO: Liverpool could sign Lamine Camara. [@laloumance] #LFC

If we have in fact got the price down £30m by waiting it out then that seems decent negotiation. We might actually have to buy him at some point though.

Wonder who's next on the list. Jacob Murphy?

And when Barcola decides he will go elsewhere because he wants a move. I still think we get him though.

I'm very glad Hughes is f***ing off.

Get Mbaye done.

I would rather keep Gakpo than buy Minteh for £80m.

We shouldn't pay £80m for Minteh. Let alone a Minteh who is injured for 2 months. Negotiations for Yankuba Minteh to Liverpool are not developing and gone cold in the last 24 hours. #LFC exploring different options for the second winger; first priority remains always Bradley Bargola. Romano now has us in for someone called Bargola.

[] NEW: Still a gap in valuation between Liverpool and Brighton for Yankuba Minteh following talks over the weekend. As of Tuesday evening, no third bid has been made. (@JacobsBen)

Good effort Celtic.

Wonder when something will happen.

Their season so far has been losing at home to Leeds twice.

[] NEW: Liverpool would like to make a move for Lamine Camara at the last moment. Offers for Camara are dragging on as clubs are aware of Monaco’s situation and are waiting until the end of the transfer window. [@Abdel_hamed6] As Fox Mulder would say, I want to believe.

Anyone seen a 'Liverpool remain hopeful' yet about Barcola?
