Love the way people say this stuff like Bayern would definitely sell Olise and he would definitely want to come.

God knows how Steven Gerrard managed to look decent in some of the teams he was in.

Wirtz has barely any credit in the bank. Barely any moments built up. Just game after game of nothing with a small spell of decent form. All the other players mentioned in the 'what about him?' stakes have something to put on the table. Isak has a few goals and has shown what he can do in this league. Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, even Curtis Jones. They've won the league, won games for the club, scored big goals. Wirtz has been a sea of grey.

Oh I'm delighted we sold him and used the money to win the lot. But we are now back to playing with a 10 and Wirtz hasn't shown he's anywhere near what Coutinho was for us. Still Coutinho fluffed his big move too.

I may not have been being entirely serious.

Imagine a peak Coutinho in his place. Madr me all reminiscent for Phil spraying passes and curling it in from outside the box.

Barcola can't be expected to succeed with players like Wirtz tasked with picking him out.

Slot is to blame if the squad arent match fit by December?

Wirtz has played mostly ineffectively for Liverpool for over a year. That's a him problem.

Only when he is in a team full of pacy world class players with an all time great manager is it fair to judge him.

What I'd give for just one of them.

I reckon we'll win 1-0.

Need a header from tbe captain.

I'm very close to absolutely hating him.

This is exactly the kind of game that Wirtz should be opening up.

No Gakpo no party.

This is a joke right?

I'm not sure the fact he's been around 14 years means it makes sense for him to get the job.

I think he might keep the Barcola start for Fulham. Give him another run off the bench.

Not thst Llorente lad again.

You just wait. I bet at some point over the next few years he'll get a red card or give away a penalty or something and maybe then you'll think again.

I loved him. Never stopped trying and had some of the greatest moments.

I'd take Luis Garcia any day.

Definitely better than an injured Minteh.

Can't we send him to a hypnotist or something? Turn up the cockiness to 10?
