I can see his point though. It's only something that you would expect from a defence that is communicating and working as a cohesive unit. That scenario was not happening here. I'd prefer Mig flap and let the chips fall than attempt to do something as risky as leave it to the defender on the line.

I remember Ronaldo getting a second yellow for protecting his face. He went up for a header but seemed to misjudge the flight of the ball and got no sympathy from the ref.
