I was also impressed at how he took charge and ran on to the pass. I think it showed some good decision making, as he could have let it run for the intended target (and presumably offside?) Salah but caught them lacking. I did think it was an under hit pass at first but it was perfect for Salah to finish.

I think if a game had gone like that last season, we would have got a point at best. Much better control and bar some stupid mistakes, they didn't really threaten as much as is being made out.

Thought as soon as he was booked that one of him or Jota needed subbed pretty quickly. Hooper would've loved to show that 2nd yellow and they were both still pressing like f***. I guess we'll see how highly rated Nyoni actually is when we play in the league cup in a few weeks. If we have immediate high hopes for him, surely he'll be starting that match.
