  1. I just saw that Gary Lineker is leaving MOTD after this season. Presume Mark Chapman will replace him but wouldn't mind Alex Scott, even if only to witness the gammon fume. CBA with Micah Richards though
  2. They're a bunch of morons but surely even they can realise this is all of his own making and his own f*** up to be punished for.
  3. What a f***ing moron. The 2nd video clearly shows he doesn't disagree with the sentiments at the end of the first, just that he doesn't want to get caught. He's obviously drunk but I wonder if refs are drug tested? Cos his mate is gubbed
  4. I was also impressed at how he took charge and ran on to the pass. I think it showed some good decision making, as he could have let it run for the intended target (and presumably offside?) Salah but caught them lacking. I did think it was an under hit pass at first but it was perfect for Salah to finish.
  5. What is it? Has it been deleted? Doesn't want to load for me.
  6. I hadn't realized Valencia were rock bottom in La Liga. I know they've never been the same since the Aimar etc years but still surprising to see them there. Has anyone seen much of them and how Mamardashvili has done?
  7. Kweev played a few years back against Ajax & Midgetland (sic)
  8. That was b******s. To think of some of the players he's played with, let alone everyone else since that has done that step between the ball and the player. But no Salah should be booked for getting fouled. w***er
  9. Yeah, really need them to drop points before they splurge 80m on a replacement on January 1st
  10. Robertson was out of training yesterday apparently
  11. It's mad - you can tell what he's away to do 8/10 times but the opposition are f***ed if they try getting it off him. He's been brilliant.

    Welcome VvD

Yeah, very unnecessary and unlike him. I thought it was odd as well when he let the ball bounce through instead of dealing with it for Jaros' first(?) save. You'd have thought in those circumstances the priority would be total protection for the keeper
  13. I think if a game had gone like that last season, we would have got a point at best. Much better control and bar some stupid mistakes, they didn't really threaten as much as is being made out.
  14. Thought as soon as he was booked that one of him or Jota needed subbed pretty quickly. Hooper would've loved to show that 2nd yellow and they were both still pressing like f***. Hopefully it was just because of that, though the stream I had (Jon Champion comm) mentioned he had ice on the top of his thigh on the bench. Hooper was a joke - hadn't even realised we didn't get a foul in the first half. 11-0 on fouls with 72% possession - figure that one out.
  15. Yeah that's what I meant, could easily have given a very soft free kick and stopped us in our tracks but made the right calls. Maybe refs really were fed up of Jürgen!
  16. Thought Taylor was ok. Fully expected him to give a foul in real time when Diaz nicked it off Casemiro before the 2nd. Missed the De Ligt one live but I can't remember getting as pissed off with Taylor as usually is the case
  17. Yeah, obviously Dom has done well but I'm a bit surprised how little time Elliot has had so far. Feels like an ideal role for him

  19. He was certainly watching anyway. Intensely.
  20. Supposedly Owen Beck was brilliant for Blackburn against Burnley today
  21. Supposedly Arsenal have expressed an interest in Gordon but he's not expected to move and Newcastle have opened talks on his contract renewal

  23. I guess we'll see how highly rated Nyoni actually is when we play in the league cup in a few weeks. If we have immediate high hopes for him, surely he'll be starting that match. Hopefully a similar case to Quansah & Bradley, where there was bafflement that we didn't sign a player and they've stepped up and looked first team ready immediately. He is very young though. Risky lack of seatbelt for a man with his injury record there
  24. Looks like Juve are shifting Chiesa to bring in Sancho
  25. He'd probably miss the exit anyway
