  1. What minute was this?
  2. If it's the foul on Suarez in the 96th minute then no, he's telling Suarez to stand up and never waves advantage.
  3. True. But he (and our whole defense) needs to improve drastically to get the numbers up again.
  4. Duncan Alexander ‏@oilysailor Pepe Reina's PL saves to shots % by season (2005-06-present): 75%, 73%, 69%, 75%, 74%, 70%, 70%, 44%. --- He works for Opta if anyone is wondering.
  5. Not to upset the Mancs out of fear of losing access to the manager and players?
  6. This content is not viewable to guests.
  7. I just watched the MOTD coverage and I'm in shock. Are we, as fans, so utterly blind to the facts on the field or is there really some sort of script the BBC decides upon (not to provoke Ferguson?) that no matter what happens on the pitch they'll stick to that script. 10/10 for the referee? Clear penalty when Valencia goes down but clear "ball" when Evans tackles Suarez? W.T.F.
  8. Good point. Should this go in the "for" column in my conspiracy theory?
  9. No problem. I just think it would be worth limiting the events applicable as they'd be too many to list (for and against) otherwise. The penalty shout? Sky clearly showed that Evans never got the ball but rather hit Suarez => No dive. He might have made the most of it but I wouldn't class it as a dive. The clip seem to have been removed from dailymotion though so I can't post it.
  10. I've been trying to find this as well but with no luck. Looked to me as Scholes jumped into the tackle and Sterling had to jump out of the way to not get hurt. But I'll admit at that point I was furious about no penalty being given for the tackle on Suarez...
  11. Yup, we just seem to be OK with letting the ref make his own decisions and take it from there. That would be OK if other teams weren't trying to influence the ref at all times.
  12. We should have started the second Evra went through young Raheem. We should then and there call for everything from a red card to a penalty. Neither would be the correct decision but if you plant the seed of doubt in his mind at that stage he probably would think more about his next decision.
  13. Can't remember if these were posted before or not:
  14. Are you meaning when Johnson was hacked down from behind and nothing was given? I've excluded that as the ref ignored it. Based on this from the post:
  15. I agree with this. I didn't include it though as I want to limit it to only decisions made by the ref. Meaning only the yellow card instead of penalty is on the list. And we absolutely need to do something about the perception both of Suarez as The Diver™ and about the referees in general. Do it before or after the public PC's just to try to get the media onboard.
  16. Theory 1: Debatable game-changing decisions go against us a lot more than they do for us. Debatable = decisions known to go either way in matches in general i.e. not right or wrong. And to reduce possible incidences, times when the referee does nothing are not included as they'd be too many and should in theory follow the same pattern as decisions made (penalty calls against ManC, ManU and a*** excluded as a result and also decisions made for us) West Brom Penalty nr 1. Debatable decision gone against us. Penalty nr 2. Debatable decision gone against us. Man City: None Arsenal None Sunderland Suarez penalty claim: Decision made to book instead of giving the penalty - gone against us. ManU Shelvey sent off: Debatable decision gone against us. Manc penalty: Debatable decision gone against us. Am I forgetting anything for and against? So far we are 0-5 when it comes to these decisions. Theory nr two: Suarez has an unfair reputation for diving: We've seen him hauled down against Arsenal, booked against Sunderland when arguably a penalty and then there's the numerous amount of tackles outside the box where nothing is done. With my LFC-glasses on I can't remember him winning a penalty or important freekick with pure simulation. He might go down easily (Sunderland) but I can't remember him taking a dive to get a player sent off or to win a penalty. There must be at least a couple of examples of this due to the reputation he has. Could you guys refresh my memory on this? Now, I realise I might be very heavily skewing the "data" so anyone want to chip in with debatable decisions for or against? (we need a tinfoil hat smiley)
  17. Just
  18. Has the media forgotten about Evans tackle on Holden? Which put him out for how long? Because IIRC it wasn't that different to the one he got a way with today...
  19. Jonjo Shelvey ‏@shelveyJ I apologise to the fans for getting sent off but no way was I pulling out of that tackle in a game of that importance. Im sorry.
  20. If he's just bad at his job the bad calls should be evenly (or close to evenly) spread between the teams. I'll let you decide on the rest...
  21. I was wrong,I just put a bet on there being a penalty in the game apparently Only 3.2 but that coupled with bets on RvP scoring and them winning gives me some consolation (not really though)...
  22. Didn't Scholes foul Sterling in the immediate aftermath of the challenge on Suarez? And from Collymore: "Its never your fault, always the victim, its never your fault" Coming from away end as United fans kept behind. @talkSPORT LIVE Stan Collymore ‏@StanCollymore Wasn't one or two,was the majority of the away support.I'm not here to take sides, just report the facts. @talkSPORT LIVE
  23. I saw that comment and immediately went to put a bet on them getting a penalty. The script was decided after that comment.
  24. He was the only ref that didn't know what to do. And that seems to have been fixed...
  25. And we won't say a word after the game ....
