Parry said something along the lines of "even if neutrals don't appreciate their football, they have to admire the efficiency and power of Liverpool". Gray said "They don't play bad football. Some of their football is brilliant. You can't level that accusation at them". About time someone in the media mentioned how good are football is. The papers have conveniently forgotten to mention this.

Weir is a hatchet man. One of the most singularly untalented players in the entire league. Everton are so s*** it's untrue. Best players are Cahil and Arteta and they're s*** too.

Happy to say i'm being proved wrong by the big fella. I originally though he would be a good foil for, in particular, Gerrard - but after the first few matches I said he wasn't good enough for us. he's shoved that down my throat! Think if we get a crack goalscore with pace to play alongside him, he'll get even better.

Someone here posted an article from the Echo a few weeks ago (think it was the Echo...). The writer said something along the lines of "it has already been decided by the british press that Peter Crouch's signing was a mistake and no matter how well he plays they won't go back on their decision - even if it means pathetically trying to take goals off the player". Think that sums it up well.
