Didn't Rooney say he wasn't interested in going there? Or at least, he wasn't interested in going to London. Wanted to stay in the North. Pretty sure he did.

Was Motson right - is he suspended for the next league game? (im sure thats what he said??)

Maybe a wee rest will do SG good. The four of them across the middle of the park were awesome today. The way they dominated Uniteds midfield was almost brutal.

The whole fuss over Stevie not playing in middle (from the media) is infuriating. Rafa has been frustrated in his attempts to get a RW in. As Carra said "Stevie is not only the best CM in the league, but also the best RM" So the best option for the team is to put Stevie there sometimes. At least until next season when (we hope!) a top class RW will come in Is that so hard to understand?? But we do miss him when he's not in the middle and in the thick of things! What's my point again??

He was with Sky last year, wasn't he? Can't be with both...

er no he didn't. he used his shoulder. Roll your eyes if you want, but it was a soft, soft penalty. Did both commentators and the pundits in the studio see it wrongly too? Not for me, mate. Agree to disagree. I think we'd all we fuming if it was other way round. Very soft.

True, mate. But for me Morientes doesn't do enough. Doesn't do much to be brutally honest. Certainly nowhere near the contribution Bergkamp made in his prime. He'll be off in the summer, along with Cisse. No doubt about it.

Comparing Morientes to Bergamp is laughable, IMO. Not trying to be cheeky. Morientes has barely made a contribution while here. That's the cold hard truth. Bergkamps been one of the highlights in the history of the Premiership.

Nah, not for me. Was a shoulder charge. Soft penalty, IMO.

We'd all go mad if we got a penalty against us for what was a legal shoulder charged. Never a penalty.

Was never a penalty, but i think i can understand why Poll gave it. The lad shoulder charged Morientes. Perfectly fine - but right at the end he extended his arm and touched Nando. From Poll's position it maybe looked like it was a fully fledged push and not a legal shoulder charge.

Gerrard by a distance. Best central midfielder on the planet.

Didn't know he was out injured. He's the business. If their big players are fit, i'd expect them to beat Chelsea, though. They'll want revenge BADLY. On another note - if reports are true and Deco - due to the emergence of the frightingly good Messi - is surplus to requirements, we should have a look! Though he'll probaby go to Chelsea.

As it said in some tabloid today, he send out his "lapdog" Steve Clarke when he's sulking. Really has no class. Did you hear what he said about Boro? summat along the lines of: "I like it when a smaller team raises their game against a team of much better quality". The equivalent of patting the whole Boro team on the head. What a dick this guy is. Surely there is no such thing as being a "neutral" when it comes to Chelsea? How anyone could like him, or thing he's funny/entertaining is beyond me.
