Always thought it weird the way Beardsley never gets assosiated with us any more. He's thought of as a Newcastle man rather than a Liverpool one - despite the fact he has most success with us. Do people not remember him with much affection? Or is it from Beardsley himself? It seems he thinks of Newcastle United as "us" and not Liverpool. Was very young at that time, but always loved watching him. If he was around today (and foreign) he'd be worth a bundle..

Doubt he's interested in going anywhere. I'd turn down any offer for him. he's a one-off. And he's ours!

Good riddance, I say. Not good enough, hasn't got the intelligence, humility or work effort to improve significantly those areas of his game that are, quite frankly, atrocious. And he annoys me! Such a f***ing lazy whinger. Says it all that he'll go back to the French league and not to another league/club at the same level as the premiership/Liverpool. It'll defo mean two brand spanking new strikers being brought in - and that's more exciting that the thought of putting up with Cisse's petulance and gay-coloured boots.

He had his chance to joing a big club when he had some "heat" and the likes of us and Arsenal were reportedly interested. Happens so often. In fact he'll team up with James Beattie next season - someone who can tell him all about it! Off to a mickey mouse club he goes!
