Only a 25% save rate against us Penalties aside, a friend of mine is a milan supporter and he said that him and a lot of other fans are a bit fed up with Dida not being consistent enough. He's not a bad keeper but makes the occasional error. Pepe had a slightly rough spell at the start of the season although I thought it was heavily exaggerated by many, including some people on this forum. I never had a doubt about his ability and mental strength. As many people on here have mentioned before Reina is the kind of goalkeeper that stays focused throughout the game. He could not have a single shot to handle for a whole game and then pull out a great save in the 90th minute. And while Dida has well passed the peak of his career. Reina is still very young, especially for a keeper. On the other hand, all that might not matter during that one game. I've been stuck in front of my computer for the last five days writing my thesis. I believe I am being punished enough.

See that Inzaghi scored 2 goals in serie A from 20 games this season (don't know how many he started). Not impressive at all. From the numbers Gilardino's been decent and Kaka (8) Seedorf (7) I guess have done OK aswell. But who else? (Sorry didn't search for an existing thread)

I haven't watched a single full serie A match this season (boring one-hourse race if you ask me) and thus have no clue of our opponents. Only watched highlight of them lately. How good are their players really? Linue up 2nd leg vs man u: Dida Oddo-Nesta-Maldini-Jankulovski Gattuso-Pirlo-Ambrosini-Seedorf Kaka Gilardino FULL SQUAD HERE Couple of things strike me. Are they usually not having Cafu, Costacurta and Simic playing? Any of them injured? How about the great penalty taker Serginho? Midfield - Besides the 5 from the last CL match they do not have much cover do they? Here's my take on comparing the two teams: Goalkeepers: LFC * * * * * ACM * * * Think Reina's one of the best in the world and he is probably full of confidence right now. If the game goes to pens again I won't even be nervous (yeah right). Was never impressed with Dida does not seem like one of those keepers that can win a game for their team. Defenders LFC * * * * ACM * * * *- They've got an experienced set of defenders in their side, but a combo of SF-JC-DA-AA/JAR is pretty damn solid as well. Not quite sure about their fullback though, but that's probably because I lack knowledge of about them... Midfield LFC * * * * ACM * * * * Any outsider would say Gerrard and Kaka being key players respectively. As mentioned above they may suffer if they need to replace one of their midfielders. We have slightly more of selection, but how strong is our left side? Will we have width problem on the right if gerrard plays there? Personally I'd like Pennant as a starter. Forwards LFC * * * ACM * * * Goalscoring has been a problem for us this year, and Milan's striker does not scare me too much either. Our front men are at least as good as 2 years ago. They had Shevchenko and Crespo then and Gilardino and/or Inzaghi just does not scare me that much. I'm curious how the Milan defense would handle Crouch playing upfront. That would make it 16 - 14- us and I've tried to be as objective as I can (probably failed miserably though). What do you guys think? Anyone a little more informed about the Milan team than I am? We'll win 2-0. Remember where you heard it first

Kuyt Gerrard Kewell

I was just thinking that but my vision had Crouch on top. Feel that the Milan defense would have a harder time dealing with Crouch than Kuyt. This would allow Kewell, Pennant and Gerrard to operate pretty high up the field. But still Riise is a safer bet i reckon. And even more probable is that Rafa will play 442... ...and I thank YOU

Never got the thing about UEFA CL ad-boards. What's wrong with the way advertisements are handled in the premier league for example. Seems idiotic to take away 000s of seats in every stadium just because it's a UEFA game. Can someone explain?

I did apply as it was the only chance for me to get a ticket. Didn't get one. Would like some transparency into how the UEFA ballot was done BTW anyone know if there is still any chance of getting returned UEFA-tickets thinking people supporting all sorts of clubs probably applied and not all of them likely to attend the final. Or are they all ending up on the black market?

First half's been like a pre-season friendly. Severe lack of concentration from the defense. Gerrard produced all the danger so far, Dirk and Robbie has done alright but we should have scored at least once. Would like to see a Gerrard/Xabi combo in midfield next half.
