  1. Sevilla sounds like a no-go, then. Just seen that Betis have Barca at home on the 24th - would that be any easier? We'd be driving up from Malaga and booking a hotel for the night, so ideally I'd like to order tickets on the web beforehand, to be sure.
  2. Figaro - sorry, quick off topic question, sorry for hijacking the thread- How easy is it to get Sevilla tickets? Planning to be in Spain over a weekend with two mates in January, and might take in a game, either Seville or Malaga- can they be had at the gates, or is there a website (in English) that I can order from, etc? Is there a decent site for fixtures, also?
  3. Apparently, that "Pancake" character mentioned in them rumours is no more.
  4. Ronaldo's everythign that's good and bad about football rolled into one. I'd like to smash his face in with a hammer, then carefully unsmash it, stick him in a Liverpool jersey and watch him go.
  5. I'd be interested to see Crouch in the air versus Knight - just to see if Crazy Pete can actually jump.
  6. Say we'll swap Warnock plus cash for Lucas Neill. Sad to see Warnock go, if it happens. Don't think he's quite good enough, but I like how he gets stuck in. Mind you, it is onl ythr Daily Star claiming it.
  7. Then again, look at the likes of Sky commentators - Chris Kamara's amazement a while back when Agger "came out for the second half with a bandaged hand". Most of these f*****s do NOTHING all day. God knows, they probably spend their time pissing about on internet chatrooms or something. Imagine.
  8. Presumably the modern version involves bobbing for mobile phones.
  9. Yep. No axe to grind with the site or anything, just thought there wasn't the same level of banter there any more, and moved on. Indeed. He was a beast of a man. I once saw him kill a man from a thousand paces away with one witty comment.
  10. He's badmouthed Barca far too much to ever move there now. They'll never bid big money for him either, and he's on a new contract now.
  11. ...is your answer.
  12. The problem with playing a flowin, passing game with Garica is that the flowing and passing tends to flow towards the other team a bit too often.
  13. You get a lot more slack when you'r etop of the league. Besides, he's their darling, and the media hate us. Rooney out of position (on the left, or in midfield) happens every feckin' game, never mentioned or criticised.
  14. The good one, not the fat, disinterested one with the beard. Maybe a Bergkamp instead, then.
  15. We need two game-winning, man-beating, goal-scoring, ball-flicking genius attackign players, basically. One wideman, one number 10. A Robben and a Rooney. *washes mouth out with soap*
  16. Your figures for Riise, Pennant, Zenden and Goznalez are a bit generous. I think Bellamy will prove himself valuable for us. Kuyt too.
  17. Arsenal have a big hairy debt, around £450M, but that aside, the main difference between us and than is that players they've sold (Vieira, Anelka, Ovemars, Petit, etc) have made MILLIONS for them. We've lost millions on every big signign we've made, and the league is littered with our ex players - there must be thirty ex-LFC players playing in in the Premier league now, all wasted cash and contract payoffs. Seriously, count them. It's MADNESS.
  18. Tht's the frustrating thing - that setup for Fowlers goal - he really does have great feet and touch. You can argue that maybe the defence weren;t all that great, but jesus, I'd happily watch him try that all day and fail four times out of five, than watch another sideways pass.
  19. Let me first direct your attention to the title of the post. Now, having done that - Stevie was voted sexiest something or other by "Attitude" at one point.
  20. I think he shirks it a bit too, Leo - when he has the choice to either delive rit early, or take his man on, he's inclined to play it sideways or behind, and then trot infield. He shoudl step up, make thign shappen, but instead he lets others take it on.
  21. Read elsewhere on the rumour mill that due diligence was largely completed before the NWDA approval was given. I don't think this would be so public if it wasn't very nearly complete.
  22. She can probably lob them in from sixty yards.
  23. Aye, sponsorshop of Arsenal to be withdrawn and them left without a pot to piss in.
  24. With the possible exception of Mrs Is-she-or-isn't-she Crouch.
  25. Right. Nobody else is asking, but I am. Explain.
