Hopefully, like Tim suggested, them financign the stadium will mean we see the financial benefit of the extra capacity a bit sooner - so Rafa's budget becomes maybe £40M-odd in the summer, instead of the curreny £20M-ish, meaning we can realistically buy the likes of Alves, instead of Pennant. There's a few players we've missed out on while he's been here because of money(depending on how much of the rumour mill you believe) - Simao, Milito, Alves, Walcott - If the deal means we can make that little extra push fo the players that have been just out of reach, then it's all good. Young and hungry players. Like Kuyt. Not cheap, but not £24M for a big lunk with hair made from dead birds. £60M offers for Terry Henry and Kaka - I can't see it happening. Nor can I see Rafa wanting it. Hopefully his hatred of paying big wages will remain.

I get the impression that the terms of the offer are some way from being agreed. Shareholders haven't been informed of an offer as yet, have they? Or could that just mean that it's purely a sale of some of Moores' shares, as opposed to a full takeover, so it doesn't warrant a shareholder's notification, or an EGM?

The Josemis and Kromkamps of the Arsenal world. That there's a good few more of them is only to be expected - he's there 10 years. And besides, if you buy 10 500K players and just one of them turns out to be a Fabregas, you've done pretty well.

Wenger's there 10 years. Doubt he paid more than half a million for any of those. Made a profit on Upson, who's a decent player. Boa Morte's excellent too, also sold at a profit, I'd say. Rafa's never signed Jugears Jeffers for £10M though.

Impossible to be all delighted when you're facing so may unknowns. I doubt many of us are 100% happy about moving stadium, despite the obvious advantages.

Granted, but we only have him and Gerrard fit for midfield, we've loads of games coming up, he's just back from an injury, the game doesn't matter that much, and Galatasary can be rather generous with the studs at times. An unecessary risk, I'd have thought.
