my dream this summer is to find the "New Carra". Upson too old and Turner seem to have stalled at S'land. Leaves potentially Shawcross and Cahill. Anyone who have watched them a bit, how would you rank them objectively on how quicke they are on a 1-10 scale where I'd have: Kurgan 5 Carra 6 Agger 7

Kuyt Carra Masch

Nothing spetacular but had a solid game. Not the most combative but a very intelligent player. He will be very useful for us

Reina 8 Carta 8 Kurgan 6 Agger 8 Insua 6 Lucas 7 Masch 8 Maxi 6.5 Gerrard 7 Kuyt 9, MOM N'Gog 7 Babel 6

Massive win. Maxi and Kuyt intelligent footballers. The engine of Lucas immense!!!!

I like the idea of getting quality players like MaXI, Jovanovic and Chamakh in on a free. If we can shift Babel, Skrtel out hopefully we can go for Turan/Cahill/Shawcross to strengthen the weak areas in the squad.

For me we need more options CB, LM, AM, CF, focus on pliers who would "guarantee" success in PL (thus not the most flashy names) CB: The next Carra 13m...don't know if Cahill or Shawcross are good enough? LM: Ashley Young 20m (cheaper alt. Turan) AM: Aguero 25m CF: Kenwyne Jones 12 (cheaper alt. Chamakh/Jovanovic on free) Squad: GK RB LB CB LM RM CM CF Reina Kelly Greek Young Maxi Masch Aguero Cavalieri Johnson Aurelio Carra Riera Benny Lucas N'Gog Degen Insua Agger kuyt Aquilani Torres Darby Cahill Stevie G Pacheco Ayala Spearing Jones

http://www.givemefootball.com/premier-leag...panish-defender Spanish Defence time again?

I love Masch but think the 20-25m in addition to parker could be well invested in the team on a Mata, Turan or new forward. We need a new really really goód solid CB as well, Cahill up for it?

Fantasy time: Out: Masch, Babel, Doss, Vog, Greek 40m In: Parker, Moses, Turan, Ruud, G Cahill 40m Well pleased with that myself...

I'm impressed with his improvement vs last year. Great mentality to handle the abuse he has received. Fantastic engine on the lad as well. Still only 22, think he can become vital for us if keeps progressing and right people around him. Love the way he went for Dunne yesterday

We have talked alot about missing alonso but I believe we're missing Sami as well. Always at least a 7 performance and professionakl when called upon. how different vs our Greek delight.

My guess: ---Reina--- GloJo-Carta-Agger-Fabio ---Gerrard---Lucas--- Kuyt----Pacheco--Yossi -------Torres---------

A friend of mine who is in the know with some Palace people says we're sniffing around young Moses....is he any good?

please spare me from ever seeing you in a red shirt again

Scoring a hattrick he didn't but his other qualities was needed on the pitch and we won the game.

Lucas running and pressing was exactly the energy we needed at that point in the game. Stop this f''' nonsense

Always rated Parker. We could do alot worse

Fiorentina game will certainly be a perfect opportunity for him
